And that's without even using the beat slicer . Nice work . I can fully attest to the fact that you can make full tracks with just the es-1 . I made a whole live solo set with mine before someone stole it for drugs .
@@gwEmbassy Glad to hear it's possible to still make a good sounding track on the es-1. I bought a es-1 a few years ago while in prison and I still got close to 3 years left until I get out and enjoy all the gear I bought since I been gone.
Funny what you said about how it's still you who's arranging the track. I dunno but that feels like the most difficult part for me and my electribe. 4 bar loops all day everyday and sound sculpting ain't no issue, but to arrange a track is something else all together.
The sound quality is wayyy better than the Volca for sure, but it has 2 terrible flaws: a crippled filter for each part and worse of all, no decay knob for each part. I couldn't understand why they hadn't implemented resonance at least with the filter and put a part decay since every other Electribe to that day had them. But it sure has a crunchy and crispy sound. I just don't find it very playable in a jam like the others.
I sold my Digitakt years ago but recently got another one due to the new firmware, chopping and time stretching is super easy and fun now. It’s really the perfect sampler @@gwEmbassy

The ES-1 is dope. The only weakness is it’s hard to dial in melodic stuff. I printed out a note table which helps a lot!

That’s true. Crafting an arrangement takes a lot of time. In some ways the 4 bar loop idea is easier than spinning it out to a decent track
