MAKE a Double Arrow Inlay out of Scraps

- Making another inlay pattern. This time it uses scraps from other inlays that were made of scraps. So, this is VERY "scrappy"!
The Maple, Walnut, Sapele, and Padauk make a very colorful combination. They are wrapped with strips of Ebony to set them off with good contrast.

Stunning work.. Really nice!
Thanks, Greg! I think these inlays can make the somewhat ordinary extraordinary.
very very nice
Thanks! Check out the rest of the playlist! There will be more to come.
@@SkyValleyStudio looking forward to more, i have watched most of the video's, trying to learn and attempt designs of my own.
That came out gorgeous. By the way, what bandsaw do you use in the shop?
Thank you!
Currently my bandsaw is a 12” Grizzly with a 6” riser. There are better ones out there. I’d classify it as a good first bandsaw. It can’t take CoolBlocks and it has a bit more vibration than I’d like, and is a bit underpowered for thick stock. It claims it takes up to a 3/4” blade, but there are times I wish it could manage a 1”. Laguna 14” is on my wish list for an upgrade.

Great thanks! I’ve been pondering a bandsaw for ages, just for re-sawing. Would love to do intricate cuts like this but the table saw would just turn a whole bunch of nice wood into expensive dirt haha.
Nice 👌 what bandsaw blade you use ?
Thanks! For most general work I use a Woodslicer 3 TPI. That will handle down to 3/4” reasonably well. But for thinner work I put on a 12tpi blade (3 teeth in the work at all times). For resawing I use a Lenox carbide tipped 3/4 alternating TPI that has a deep gullet to clear out the waste.
