I thought I had a pretty good idea of how to run my railways but just the little hints about elevation levels and using multiple signals made such a difference in my playthrough! Cheers!
That tip for showing elevations already makes this worth the watch. They should have made it an in-game upgrade like "Topographical Maps" in the tech tree OR have a hireable staff member unlock the view like a Cartographer or Site Manager.
Great video! The biggest thing i was having trouble understanding was how to effectively use the signals. This guide video does a great job of explaining signals. Also the video contains allot of other useful information.
the background music shouldnt over power your voice. It shouldnt be in the mix at all. But if youre going to have it, it should be 1/4 of the volume of your voice. Not 1:1.
sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@David Finley Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
From what I understand the warehouse is supposed to pass ressources from one train to another. Like you got iron on one side of the map and coal on the other so instead of running one really long train line you make an existing line run it to the warehouse and another existing line picks it up from it and runs it in the next direction
thanks for your tutorial, after playing railway tycoon for 25 years i had trouble learning this game, without tutorials it would be impossible...thanks
thanks very useful i couldnt figure out why i was getting notifications saying waiting for line to clear and all the trains were sitting at the station. the signal tutorial explains why i mest up, i didnt put any signals down at all lol.
Did anyone else think about "C'mon N' Ride It" by Quad City DJ's while watching this? So to all of you girls, you know, I'm calling your name Michelle, Tamika and Tanya Wanna ride this train... Come on, ride the train, hey, ride it, woo woo ...damn I'm getting old....
Just wanted to say amazing tutorial :) wanted to watch your lets play of Railway empire becuase I really enjoyed your explaination to bad you never posted a full lets play :/ that would be fun to watch
This is not a beginners guide. It's an efficiency guide for experienced players. I have never played this game in my life and just bought it and this "guide" has given me no concept on how this game is organized compared to other railroad games I have played. Also, please don't use a hard to read green font on a green background.
No, it does not help... this all is covered in the first campaign. 19 min wasted and my train stations are still congested. Without the trains being able to figure out how to use different lanes at a station. No info on it in this video but seems definitely something a beginner needs help with. I might not be the smartest out there, but ive sure as hell seen dumber ones so if i cant figure it out, im sure there are plenty who are having issues with this.
I find the UI of this game confusing. I can't really explain it, and maybe it is just me. But I find the game unintuitive and I don't enjoy playing it. At least I didn't pay a dime for it.

The music is too loud, while doing tutorials you shouldn't have music playing other than that great tutorial.

First time here, channels use Royalty music, or are you willing to pay for them?
@@lucasrem NO music is better than a song written for CHER's 14th album.
@@lucasrem So what? Completely irrelevant.
thanks for your tutorial, after playing railway tycoon for 25 years i had trouble learning this game, without tutorials it would be impossible...thanks
thanks mate, this explained it better than the campaign map.

Very helpful, Thank you.
Thanks man, useful information! Signals were confusing me before watching this.
Thanks for this video! I love train games but the newbie tutorial in the game sucks :( it left me to figure things out by trial and error.
i never did that, not willing to invest in the title...
i need hacks i guess..Not willing to go tutorial, wait for money.....
WiseSilverWolf agreed. Im soooo frustrated by this game. It could be very good, but it makes me wanna rage quit!!1

Thank you. A really clear starter guide 😊
Thank you. It was a very useful tutorial for me.
Great video, thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial. It really helps.
Nice video, but the music made it really hard to reach the end.
Thanx for making this. VERY helpful. I now have 4 trains making a bit of money. Why do the trains break down so often..?
Your train station may need a Maintenance Shop?
Truck Driver yes, the hidden option somewhere for a maintenance building.
Great video mate, really helped me out, good effort
I notice one or more trains have no carriage to move goods. I do not understand how to get over this. Any ideas?

This game is ridiculously frustrating, I'm done with it. Good video though.
The music is way too loud and offputting.
Why the crappy music? Had to switch off half way.
I find the UI of this game confusing. I can't really explain it, and maybe it is just me. But I find the game unintuitive and I don't enjoy playing it.
At least I didn't pay a dime for it.
How did you get the contour lines?
go to options in main menu
Alan Zhu literally the first thing he explains in the video. O.o
Gaveup after 50secs. Sure the video would have been usfeul but that damned background music is TOO much!
What's the point of pounding drums when doing a tutorial video.
still cant deploy a train. deleted.
this game sucks can't even put track down stupid game
