@@mindliberator3529 We used to play in Asia until 1974 basically after the Yom-Kippur war between Israel and its Arab neighbors, started what we call in Israel the "Arab boycott" where most of the Arab and Muslim countries in the world boycotted Israel in many fields. It was pretty much impossible to continue playing in Asia when you can't play against half the teams, and slowly Israel integrated into the european federation of football

Geography is an interesting question, I also find it quite funny that Gran Canaria(basketball team of canary islands) is literally in west centeral africa but they compete both in Spanish league and eurocup as they are willing to pay the plane tickets lol.
About Israel though, their main problem is the on going hostility they created with their neighbours. As its not safe for Israeli teams to do international competition in middle east they opt for europe. Most importantly they bring money to the table.

It must be frustrating to lose a close game but It was an obvious foul. Refs reviewed it and confirm the decision again.
Refs can't review foul decisions to cancel them. They can upgrade or downgrade the fouls. For example a normal foul to an unsportsmanlike. But can't cancel them altogether after the whistle was blown. In this video they are reviewing whether the foul was called before or after the buzzer and if so how much time should be left on the clock
Honestly I'm from Serbia and I love that our team won and everything but truth be told I'm with you on this one.
