BIG FAN of the way you guys have begun structuring Upgrades! It's a really good breakdown of a precon and its themes and cards without going too much into detail on it, while also giving your own ideas on how to work with the deck after having played it! Keep up the good work guys!
12:52 Suarez: "Love the monarch. Best mechanic in the game. Outside of cycling." Me: "Preach, brother!" Sidenote: I really wish Mask of the Schemer was white. It's equipment that cares about combat, so that's white-aligned. It doesn't actually gain you card advantage, so it doesn't have to be blue. A missed opportunity.
Archfiend of ifnir seems like it would be really good with this deck. At least one -1/-1 counter on all your opponent's creatures per turn is pretty good. Currency converter and mask of the schemer really powers it up.
I am very new to mtg commander and this is my first deck I bought. I would like to ask you: When you upgrade, do you exchange some cards in your deck or just add the new ones?
A 1:1 exchange is ideal! Removing cards of similar mana cost helps to retain the original mana curve for the deck so that may be a good place to start. :)
atherling feels very mana intensive. pretty much need 7 mana to cast it if you want to protect from one removal. then it's 4 or 5 mana to get it going each turn. Can do alot these days with 11-12 mana.

Thank you so much for the feedback! We're glad you like it. :D
Awesome recommendations. So far the best I've found. :) Please keep the cards image longer on the screen when you give the description.

Monarch + Goad is best chaos.
I opened this commander in my set booster. So excited to build it. Thanks for the video.
I spent my whole time watching this waiting for John to shuffle his papers like he does his cards 😂
John already printed the proxies 🤣
Think you could keep the card images up as long as you're talking about the card? Makes following what you're saying about them easier
I really like the upgrades, but what should i swap out!? I have no idea..

rouges with white combat tricks sounds great
I don't like the thrive lands in 2 color, but in 3 or more, I'm a big fan.
I like your guide. I wish you would share a decklist
use cephalid constable, 1c2b 1/1 creature whenever it deals combat damage return X permanents to opponents hand where X is damage dealt
