You came up in my suggested today. I watch both Chosen and Pilpoh playing this so probably why. Enjoyable watching. I'm not into the big vanilla building series but this is on my list now.
Enjoying the series and also the sparkly cow is sparkling due to it having an ability totem that will drop on being unalived, they will give passive potion effects at the cost of some xp to give them to yourself
Hey man, loving the vids keep em coming, just a tip for projectE, make a transmutation table that way you can use other items emc to get any item you’ve put in it before
There's a much easier and faster way of getting ice, packed ice, and blue ice. Start Botania. I'll explain it in a way anyone that's never done Botania can follow. Mix some bonemeal with 4 dyes (which you can get from lapis or bonemeal if you don't have flowers yet) to make Mystical Fertilizer. Use that on grass like you would bonemeal to get Mystical Flowers to grow. When a Mystical White Flower appears, twerk to make the tall version, then grab it and any other colour flower and craft them into petals. Use 6 cobblestone and one random petal to make a Petal Apothecary. Place it, use a bucket of water on it to fill it, then drop in 4 white petals and some wheat seeds to get a Pure Daisy. Place it on a piece of dirt and put water adjacent. You can either have it right next to a ledge so it flows off instead of breaking the Pure Daisy, or put blocks right next to the Pure Daisy and put the water in a diagonal from it. The Pure Daisy will convert the water to a block of snow. Break it with a shovel for 4 snowballs. You can use these on barrels of water to get blocks of ice. You can either get 9 blocks of ice this way and craft a Packed Ice, or place the ice near the Pure Daisy and it will convert to Packed Ice. Crafting it yourself is more reliable, since the ice might just melt before converting, but it should work. You do need Silk Touch to break it, but if that's not available at the moment, just do it where you want the Packed Ice to be. If you put Packed Ice near the Pure Daisy, whether placing a crafted one or leaving a converted one, it will convert that into Blue Ice. Packed Ice and Blue Ice won't melt, so there's no risk of that happening while you make it. And once again, if you don't have Silk Touch, just do it right where you need it. Or use the Pure Daisy and convert enough water to snow to make 81 Ice, craft them into 9 Packed Ice, and craft those into a Blue Ice. Much easier, faster, and less risky than a small Pneumaticraft setup.
Agreed. Cool solution for sure but the way I did it eas very material light and even with discovering the entire process from scratch it still didn't take me too long!
I know im far too late to help with the series but for anyone reading theough the comments you can craft a squeezer very easily and if you put a few armor stands on top of it you can place a button or switch next to it. This contraption when you push the button or flip the switch will launch the armor stands in the air and while they are airborn you can place an ore inside the squeezer, when the armor stands come down they will crush the ore block with a chance at doubling the ore you recieve. You can squeeze a stack in about a minute doing it this way so its early game but if you do this and use the hammer afterwards you can quadruple your ore very cheaply early game.
The sparkly mobs drop some kind of trophies that you can use to get effects such as jump boost and what not. I started my own playthrough of the pack to play along with you.
Mobs that spawn with the yellow particles drop an ability totem when killed. Some of them can be very powerful such as a permanent Regen or a permanent bone meal effect around you
It would have been easier on you to go into Thermal Series and make a Blast Chiller for ice. You just have to supply it a sink some pipes, and power generation. That way you would not have to insert buckets over again.
You also could have done botania pure daisy + water for snow(blocks). Might've been a tad easier. :) I had automated sink + barrel + snowballs with some pipez
easiest way for ice, use the alchemy mod, feed water into it, it gives you alchemical vials of water, put into a compacter from the same mob, makes ice
interestng ice method, personally i jsut made a pure daisy from botania (floral fertilizer is pretty easy) and then put water next to it, which converts it into snow which you can either put into a mana pool with an alchemy catalyst or jsut click on a barrel with water. I do like your method though, pnuematicraft is unfortunately overshadowed in most modpacks that use it despite being a super cool mod
A much faster and easier way to make ice just requires getting into Botania. A Pure Daisy converts water into snow, which you can break for snowballs. You can use those on barrels of water to make ice. From there, you can either make 9 to craft Packed Ice, or 81 for Blue Ice. Or you can place the ice next to the Pure Daisy. If the ice doesn't melt too quickly, the Pure Daisy will automatically convert that to Packed Ice and then convert Packed Ice into Blue Ice. You do need Silk Touch to mine them up, but you can just have the Pure Daisy next to wherever you need the ice instead and convert it on the spot
Watched Chosens play through of atm9tts, now onto yours and as a fellow aussie, there is no other way to say aluminium as North American English, isn't real :P But still enjoying your take on things after playing the pack myself, cheers mate, have a good one!!
Chosen Architect, System Collapse and you are all top tier 😉
I'll have to check out system! It's so great seeing the different ways people play 😁
I just found both of you, with this pack. Have been watching your series, as well.
Fantastic editing and fantastic base design. 👌

Transmutation table seems a little ways off looking at the resources required. But we'll get there 😁
found your channel through this series! I find your videos so relaxing and enjoyable!
absolutely love the videos! dont burn yourself out though

interesting way of doing it though I would argue its no easier than the pneumaticraft route

Loved this ep. Didn't know you could get ice that way
The pure daisy from Botania makes snow from water. Also the glacial precipitator from Thermal makes ice.
Couldn't wait for it! Episode 4 :D

Go at a steady pace. You're doing fine.
