It's so awesome you do special days with the kids, I'm sure they'll remember them! Did Maggie get a new harness? It looks like it's a different color. I also thought it was funny that you said no balloons and then Maggie had a balloon in the very next clip. Oh, Maggie's using Caroline's Cart! I always see those carts at some stores. I'm surprised Maggie picked car toys, and even more surprised she meant power wheels! I like your Herbology sweatshirt. Sadie looks really different, did she dye her hair. Also Maggie's pool party at the end was sort of funny. I'm sorry Maggie was frustrated enough to have a meltdown but it's nice that people didn't stare.
Make a video about autism and technology. What devices do your kids use? Do your kids have gaming consoles? How do you keep them on task? What apps benefit your family the most? Stuff like that.
Yes, that’s the plan! Maggie is especially excited. After all the years of Mass being a struggle when she was tiny, she is now the most excited to go. It has been such a transformation.
She asks to wear it when we leave the house. She doesn’t like holding hands 99 percent of the time but because of touch avoidance and the deep pressure from the harness is another plus for her. We actually have had to limit how often she wears it because we were worried it could stunt her rib cage growing. She is required to wear it on the school bus. We made a rule that she takes it off at home and school. But when we’re out in public she chooses. As an autistic adult I follow my kid’s lead on sensory issues and stims when they aren’t physically harmful. Her harness helps her feel secure and safe in public. I’m not going to take that away from her because it makes some, mostly neurotypical people, uncomfortable. Hope that helps you understand.

Will Maggie and Patrick be receiving their First Holy Communion this spring?
Yes, that’s the plan! Maggie is especially excited. After all the years of Mass being a struggle when she was tiny, she is now the most excited to go. It has been such a transformation.
@@Autmazing That's outstanding! Blessings to them as they prepare to receive the Sacrament! :D
Did Sadie had a growth spurt? She looks so grown now?
no offense but that harness looks so insulting to her dignity surely there must be a more discreet way to do that?
