Good to see you on Saturday Ed, fair play to you for putting in the miles, you bought those two master system games for a fiver from me, just a few odds and sods left over to clear out really, take care and probably see you at the next one 👍
I didn't know they still did these, i used to get some decent games from my local town centre, until almost all of them left, and since gamestation went, it's been pretty hard to find anything before the Wii.
Good video as always mate. Bought a £30 blind bag and a £10.one from you this time round. Gutted I didn't spot the 8 games for £5 box, but the place was manic. I did get a few PS1 games from that stall that had them on for £3 each (great deal). Also managed to get 4 PS2 Platinum games for my collection (Star Wars Force Unleashed was an EU exclusive that didn't come out in the UK) as well as a few other bits. Great venue, great deals all round!
To answer your question it really comes down to the format you wanna collect for and the game in question and quality of the box etc. Also it comes down to what you define as cheap. Personally as a trader I absolutely loved it as it has been my most performing market so far and I will return as collectors really love my stock. I hope you did well too Ed. Interesting at 7:17 as I priced my Minish cap at £130 and my LTTP four swords was £90. My Mario Party is £50 and my Wario Blast is £50 so I was generally cheaper than that table that had GBA. Haha I remember that dude at 7:47 he wanted my Chrono Trigger on DS so bad but sadly I could not get the price down to what he wanted, really nice guy. I saw you rushing about sorry I didn't have time to say hi as I too was rushing about! Worms Forts Under Seige and Stunman are games I can never get bored of, same with MKDA it's severely underated but the GC version is the one to play ED. The Terminator on the Mega Drive is a nice little game...I challenge to you try and beat that on hard mode. Tiny Toons on SNES is ok...but it's Mega Drive game 'Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure' you wanna get :). And yes big up to those who came on that stormy day they make the market! I'd consider Brighton but due to work commitments I'm out for any more markets this year have a good one and I'll see you in the new year my friend. :)
Might be a stiupid question but how do i find all these events..? i been collecting over a year now but mostly local shops n such never been to any events..?
That CEX had some decent items! Charity shops are so greedy, most stuff is so overpriced these days. No wonder they don't get rid of stuff quickly ready for new stock
One of my local charity shops on the high street doesn't get many games as it's a smaller one compared to the many others on the strip. I went in Saturday and this old lady actually had some games out back so I asked if I could look at them, all 360 and PS3.. mostly fodder but few lego and that which could have been worth grabbing BUT... EVERY GAME was priced up at £7 😂🤦🤦 will they ever learn?
Great Video.. Ya I've Been to Them Shops in Doncaster The Week Before You Went to Doncaster and Picked Up Some Nice Things There.. There Was a Copy of Medabots Infinity for £30.. But Was Gone Before I Visited Doncaster and Was Seeing to Grab That lolz.. But Ya Shame I Didn't Visited The Doncaster Gaming Market Due to Visiting The Week Before etc.. I Will Visit The One In Spring 2025.. Nice Pick Ups as Always
Great to see you Ed! (Picked up a blind bag & batman begins on PS2 from you)

Nice one Adam! Nice one for buying the bags and hopefully see you at the next one

Keep an eye on the channel I always make announcements of any upcoming retro gaming events I sell at 👍🏼next one is Brighton this Sunday
@ okay but is there a place where they announce them all?
Haha british heart attack😂😂 I'm gonna call it that now! My one near me is so expensive everything is ebay prices or retail.
Take care
They think they are John Lewis!
Charity shops have become insanely priced now for games
That CEX had some decent items!

It did but some of the conditions were a bit ropey for more liking. Yep and if they don't sell it, they bin it!
🎉
I thought you literally shouted out "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNND YES!" outside CEX lol
I did but it was too windy to use the og audio haha
Great video, unfortunately nothing for me at the show or the stores.
Keep huntin' ya never know
