- Sensing that Mac needs her, Rachel travels to Maine and learns that he passed away in his sleep early that morning.
Also in this episode, Mitch supports Felicia when she tells him that she wants to find her daughter; Cass disapproves of Stacey seeing Derek and tells Felicia he no longer feels anything where Nicole is concerned; Frankie sets her sights on working at Winthrop & Edwards; Sharlene apologizes to Felicia for the way she treated her when she thought she had killed Jason and Cass apologizes for what he put Sharlene and John through in court; Stacey lets Nicole have it for hurting Cass and later, Nicole tells Liz that even if she doesn't go to prison she's decided to sell her salon and leave Bay City. - Розваги

Ada was my favorite character. Tough, yet warm...I loved her
Victoria Wyndham, Douglass Watson and Constance Ford really were the mainstays of this soap opera. Notably, Robin Strasser was the first Rachel from ‘67 to ‘72; Wyndham would take over for the remaining 27 years. And Nancy Frangione, Christopher Rich, Stephen Schnetzer, Linda Dano, Anne Heche, Richard Burgi, Barry Jenner, Jackee Harry, Rue McClanahan, Anna Holbrook, Lisa Peluso, Thomas Ian Griffith and Dorothy Lyman would all be recognized on screen/stage outside of AW. Sharon Gabet would wind up on EON; David Canary would wind up on AMC. And Audra Lindley, who did the first five years of AW, would become best known for being ‘Mrs. Roper’ on THREE’S COMPANY…
Rhonda Ross, the daughter of Diana Ross, was also on Another World. I think she played a police officer.
I watched Another World growing up. I didn't know Matthew 'Matt' wasn't Mac's biological son, but Mac was a father in all the other ways.
Another World, best soap, great actors, great writing,great scenery Everything. I would come home from school, put the TV on to Channel 4, and watch Another World. After my favorite show I did my homework. I remembered Ray Liotta, Joey on Another World. He was so cute. RIP Ray. Thank you to all the great actors and writers on Another World. You made a #1 Fan happy.

@@swolfe9668 jill farren phelps never really respected established characters and families. Look at her work in Guiding Light, One life to live and General Hospital to see how she wrecked those shows.
Oh, I agree the writing definitely went downhill after Mac’s passing. But lately I’ve really come to appreciate the story between Carl and Rachel. Definitely worth checking out.

Douglas Watson died kinda abruptly....and it seemed like a year or two after this, Constance Ford (Ada) died kinda abruptly too. Neither one of them had even hit age 70. The show had no prayer at this point.
I watched this with my Mom when Steve and Alice were together and Rachael wanted Steve. ❤

Even Felicia's night gowns are armored! How can any man get past the shoulders, the huge baggy swaths of fabric, all that clanking jewelry. I know it's the styles of the day, but Felicia had some get-ups that were positively clownish.
They dressed Felicia consistent with her character... A romance novelist...
And that Jelly roll hairdo. Always hated how they styled her but true, she was perfect for the romance novel trophe lol
That little piece of hair hanging down in the front always irritated me.

Who is the guy at the end in the scene with Stacey? He sounds very familiar.
Stephen Schnetzer portrayed Stacey's brother Cass. He does has a very distinctive voice and actually does a lot of voiceover work.
@@veggieburgermeister and he has aged beautifully. He recently did a film in 2021 called A Case Of Blue. It’s an indie film so it’s only available on UA-cam and streaming services. But it was so great to see him again.

@@veggieburgermeisterBoy they screwed his character. Killing off each of his wives Kathleen and Frankie and writing off his fiancee Nicole. CASS made a few appearances on AS THE WORLD TURNS after Another World folded.......and then ATWT folded too....
Ada and Mac were the best, but once Beverly left the role of Iris I was done with the show
Beverlee McKinsey also played the first Alexandra Spaulding on The Guiding Light.
Another World must have had a huge set budget in comparison to other Proctor and Gamble soaps at the time. The other shows had much cheaper looking set and cheaper production values than Another World.
I came to see Linda Dano who is on days now and remember another world when I was a kid. But now all I can think of is all that raw egg everywhere and the potential salmonella. Yuck 🤢

How so very convenient for newbie Frankie that Cass has snapped his fingers and Nicole (AKA the woman he was about to marry) is is no longer a problem for him. Cass is a jerk.
