Yes it is. I was just listening to a show where Mike Wallace interviewed Bob and Bobby Pierce. Mike mentioned how when he ran dirt, he usually struggled and Bob was like hang on a second I remember at the Springfield Mile I couldn't even see your back bumper lol.

dirt late models shoudnt run on a 1/4 track, this mile really shows what they can do,plenty of track to move around
Yea it's cool but these cars are not ment to go this fast , if you ever seen them wreck here they don't belong on the mile , but cool
Would be crazy to see them race on a mile today. Probably 170-180 mph at the end of the straightway.
