Slight mistake: when Joé discarded Kozilek, he should've drawn his card before shuffling his graveyard back into the library. Rankle's trigger is single and all of its effects must resolve before other triggers can do their thing.

@@laneawakeDan it needs an update tbh, I've been putting money towards other things lately rather than MtG and there have been so many powerful cards released that the deck could do with an overhaul. Run things to steal opponent's creatures, then attack with them, sacrifice them to something else for value or to hurt your opponents boards/hands etc, then reanimate the creatures you took to stay on your side of the board permanently. Run Insurrection, run Rise of the Dark Realms, run unfair efficient combos like Sensei's divining top (also a flavour win lore-wise) with Bolas's Citadel and Aetherflux Reservoir, run the bolas walkers and the Chain Veil. Run Nicol Bolas The Ravager as the commander to make everyone discard on etb when you have a Waste Not in play, then flip him into his walker side, resurrect a Tezzeret Master of the Bridge, use his passive discount to cast another Bolas walker for 3 mana, activate both his ability and Tezzeret's, then use the Chain Veil to activate all three of your planeswalkers abilities again, then Hour of Devastation/Toxic Deluge the board to protect your walkers. Stuff like that. As Bolas you always want to have more cards and mana than your opponents, always have a plan, a deal, an answer, and always have a way to make your opponents work for you. There's a misplay at 7:00. Asylum Visitor has an intervening-if trigger; since Maxime had cards in hand as he begun his upkeep, Asylum Visitor's trigger won't be put on the stack.

Asylum Visitor triggered ability checks whether any player has no cards right at the beginning of upkeep _and_ when it resolves. If the condition isn’t true at that time, the ability is removed from the stack and does nothing.
