@@jonathanhampshire6856 I know they are mainly aiming at the adult market for them now but people need some sort of hint as to who they are. Not exactly aiming at new customers
Love this look of the character and hope that we get classic Gamora, classic Drax on the AoA sabretooth body and the rest of Yondu's team. Still need to grab myself a vulcan so glad to see this figure has the body
Pleasant surprise today, looks great! Hopefully I'll be able to acquire this figure without too much difficulty, as I've loved this look for Star-Lord since I was a child. Solid review as always, thanks! 😎👍
Reminds me of X-Factor Cyclops, which we reallllly need to finish that team! We’re LONG overdue for Jean (red and green variants!), human Hank (deluxe with swap hands/feet/head?), light blue uniform Bobby, and red Angel. Or he could be just a generic trooper/army builder space cop. I’m surprised you didn’t put the Johnny Karate head on him. We’ve had enough of that guy.
It’s nice to get a new comic Star Lord at last but I can think of 5 looks I would want before this one. I do like the Vulcan buck though and the head looks amazing.
If you want to get a good idea of WHO this guy is, dig yourself up a copy of Marvel Preview #11 (1975) for a GREAT( 2nd appearance) epic space story about Star-Lord.
I can totally picture a sort of Hannah-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon version of Guardians of the Galaxy a la Space Phantom or Herculoids with this version of Star Lord as the main character.
This is the look that caught my eye when I saw it when I was a kid. This is the reason comics exist ❤
For nearly $30, I really can't tolerate shotty paint apps
Yep this boots look terrible
Most of Hasbro's figs seem twice as expensive as they should be.
I've had this guy on Pre-order forever. Trying to build a more traditional Infinitely Watch/Guardians of the Galaxy.
I don't know what to do with this version StarLord, he'll probably just go with Yando. I hope we get more teammates and other versions.
That Steve Rogers head is perfect!
I like this look for him better than the newer version. Great review.
Who? (Hahaha that seemed appropriate for a Star Lord entrance on the Dan Who Channel) 😉
Makes me want 70's-90's Drax and Gamora
the blue looks alot darker then what they first showed
..but looks good.
@@cerd6292 more good lol
This looks like a very good figure. They really could do with bringing back the blurb at the back.
I don’t understand that personally. If you don’t know the character why buy it. I throw it in the trash anyway.
Yes I agree. Maybe it's asking too much, but how about adding stats like: strength, speed, agility, intelligence durability etc.

Yondu too! Great stuff, Dan.
Technically this is also a multiverse figure too! Good old Earth-791
This is the best star Lord I ever see 10.10 stars.

I got to meet Steve Gan. The guy who made Star Lord back in 2019. Might get this fig just to get it signed by him.
Love the Original look...
Cool fig. Look forward to getting one.
Hello Yondu Cameo 😮
It also works as the black mirror reality starlord
Good review : I hope to see the rest of the original Guardians of the Galaxy .
Great look at the figure and info re: the design!

We already have X Factor Cyclops from the firsr X-Men Retro wave, but I suppose you mean a new one on the Vulcan body. I definitely would go for that.

EMBARGO!!!!!
Nice review my guy🐺🐺🐺
Unexpected review
Is it just me or does the head logo look like the nova corp? Shame about the blemishes on the copy

Overpriced at $24.99 but a great figure.
For me it's 37$
@@gummybe3ryou can get him for 5 now
Painted on boot tops?!?
Ugh.... Another shining example of Hasbro's bottomless cheapness.
