Fun fact you might not know... before the 435 loop was built, travelers would get on 291 highway in Harrisonville, and take it all the way up to where it meet's I-35 on the north end of Liberty. Liberty and Lee's Summit were not built up then, so it was a way to travel north and south without driving through the middle of Kansas City. And it was not called 291 at the time, it was called 71 Bypass. 71 was the main north/south artery from Joplin and ends at International Falls, Minnesota. This was even before I-70 existed.
Lee's Summit Missouri is basically KC'S version of Kirkwood Missouri and its located in Jackson County Missouri while Kirkwood Missouri is located in St.Louis County Missouri.
I have to tell you that as botanical gardens go, Powell Gardens is quite the nothing burger. I know many in Kansas City like it, because they have nothing else to compare it to... but go to the Missouri Botanical garden in St. Louis, and you'll see what a botanical garden is SUPPOSED t look like. Actually the Overland Park Arboretum is nicer than Powell.
Lees Summit is a great town to be in. I spend a lot of time in the area as I Doordash etc throughout the Lees Summit area. There’s a lot to see, and so many locally owned restaurants etc. @dashingwomble
@@movingtokc I actually live in Raytown, but choose to deliver food around Lees Summit. First of all it’s a lot safer of an area to be for the most part. The residents are friendly too, and there’s a lot going on in the town.
Very good information about city, congrats for good video.
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Thanks so much! We are looking at the area, but we will probably wait a year or so until rates drop more. :)
Thanks! We’d love to help when the time comes 💪🏼

Thanks for the insight! I’ve only ever been to STL once and it was when I was a wee lad.

Hey @brockreynolds870! What would you say is your favorite part of living here? 😄
Your popup text messages are ALL OVER THE PLACE! Really annoying!
I appreciate your feedback! Is there anything you'd like to see more of in future real estate videos?🤯
