COME TO COVENTRY OFTEN: Enjoy water - the waves, zip lining in GO APE, ice skating in Planet Ice, mini golf , tennis, mini train ride in memorial park etc. Got a lot of choices too in the restaurants in the city centre. Motor and art museums are also in the city centre. Come and enjoy.
As a person who goes here regulary i want to say it is VERY fun! I would recomend 10/10 they are very kind and dont have limits

Enjoyed watching. I knew about this park but hadnt seen much coverage of the slides. Looks good although im looking forward to getting back to Pleasure Beach this weekend.

I love all of the slides the only one I didn't do was the drop one but I'd highly recommend the orange and cyan one that was my favourite!

how was it?
I was there the other weekend with my brother and I’m going again this Saturday with my mates because I enjoyed it that much. I agree with this video. Altho last rime I was there the crowds were slightly larger however, I got all but one slide done and managed to spend plenty of time in the wave pool and lazy river

Yey we went and it was great. We all loved it (we are mum and dad in our 40s and 11 Yr old boy and 9 Yr old girl) and yup especially the rapids, it's really good fun going on on the 8 shaped inflatable with your child!

Chris Johnson Adventures I have lived in 5 places in the last few years I can say out of york Hexham Northampton Cromer Doncaster at times, the only place better than Coventry is Cromer, York feels safer but has nothing to do
Omg this is my local but I didn’t want to go because I hate water slides that finish in deep water to say they finishing the shallow trays is fantastic (I hate going under water) I will forget the bowl side

I want to go there next weekend to try it out, what is confusing for me is the time slots! Do you know why and how this works? I mean there is a 2 hour slot I have to book, and what happens after? Need to leave the site? Or .. thanks
That is the time you are in the pool, so one lets say 10-12 is the time you can be in there for. then at 12 they’ll ask you to leave the pool. Then you get changed and then leave. I hope that helps

Thank you very much, I have been there and is absolutely amazing. Everything is clearer now as I couldn't imagine how they kept count for everyone going in and about, but actually is very easy as the empty the pools every two hours and then back again. Two hours is more than enough for testing. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you for your reply

@@insidesilver5517 hiya! if you get there jsut before opening, the queues are rlly short but later on they get a bit longer! however they move very quickly so you won’t be waiting long! hope this helps

the only downfall to me, is the 2h slots, just too short, reason why i only go to splashworld & not here. dunno why cant pay a little extra for 4h, that would be plenty of time & for food, i like to have a little rest in between & enjoy & not feel rushed
I went there last October all the rides are so good but I feel of the floatie on the green and yellow tube one
We loved that one, shame our video was out of focus on it 🤨

Thanks for watching! Maybe overly critical of the Pleasure Beach at times, but it's honesty and how we feel at the time of filming :) We've avoided picking faults at BPB many, many times in the past believe me.

Great video as always buddy, how would you compare it to other water parks in the country? They definitely have a mix of all the best rides at other water parks all put together with a few extras. Certainly looks a top UK contender

They have two seater rings and single rings for some of the tube rides.

This looks like great fun for a small day trip! I’ve not had much experience with water parks, let alone indoor water parks, but this looks like a nice family trip! I especially love that little window into the bowl slide pool in the kids area! Would love to travel there if I lived in Europe 😂
That said, I also want to ask out of curiosity: is the child play area dry, or does it incorporate water into the slides? Again, I’m not terribly familiar with indoor water parks, so I don’t know if a dry playground in a water park is the norm, but it struck me as a bit odd, but extremely useful for families nonetheless!
0:45 is the kids are in action, the main pan round is dry due to being shot between sessions. I can promise its in no way dry 😂
Hey! Thanks for watching :) We mostly filmed the kids area after the area was emptied and 'shut down', it's usually full of water when in operation.

My feedback
It’s a very small and cute place nice and compact limited capacity short waits very clean and it felt quite new and modern prices are really good only point I didn’t like was the body slides like Torrent Cyclone and Cascade has some rough joints which were a little jagged on my back especially the Torrent which goes over it with high speed but the raft slides were fantastic
I would rate The Thunderbolt Drop Slide at Waterworld over Torrent

@@AnonymousSuperTuber, the virus travels in small mucus and saliva particles that are suspended in the air, meaning you are unlikely to get the virus through touching any wet surface here, but can still get it just as easily through the air, which is why social distancing is very necessary.
Tbh places where masks can’t be worn should certainly be closed, as even with 2m between everyone, the transmission rates will be loads higher.

There isn't a pool in the waterpark as far as I know that's deep enough to drown in with the exception of the cyclone sides pool cause it drops you into 1.8m of water. If you're 5ft 11 like me you can just jump off the floor to take a breath. There's also a life guard at the bottom of the slide at al times.

I've just come back from The Wave. I asked if I could film on The Torrent only to receive a very definitive 'no.' Only allowed for people with big UA-cam accounts then, I replied. This is sadly the truth though.
We arranged our filming visit in advance, the video has received 52k views which I believe is the highest viewed video of The Wave on UA-cam. We carry out our filming safely and worked with the team at The Wave on a few other things too.
@@yourexperienceguide Indeed. My drop slide obsessed young son was desperate for me to get a quick 10 second go pro video on The Torrent. I tried to explain to him it's all about marketing and I'm just a nobody. Oh well, such is life.

@@yourexperienceguide Sorry, not my intention to 'take it up,' as it were. Just highlighting what must be a common frustration amongst enthusiasts who just want a bit of their own footage on rides, using the same equipment, but can't.
@@Zach-On-Track I see it from the marketing team's pov because I understand the process they have to go through to allow permission to film. The team at the Wave probably don't want me to start detailing out the agreements and safety processes we went through beforehand so I have nothing else to add.
