Shana I have done jewelry repair in a jewelry store for 35 years. I stumbled onto your videos and I just have to tell you how impressed I am with your work. You use lots of different tools than I do but you get excellent results. Your designs are great and I think you are great. You go girl!! By the ways I still do repairs and I’m 71 years old but you are never too old to learn a new trick!!🥰
Thrilled that you are doing more videos! Your work inspires me and I was wishing you would run workshops so I could learn more from you. Now my dream has come true! Still intimidated by soldering but your approach makes it seem possible. I am grateful that you are generous in taking the time to share your skills. Anam Cara Handcrafts
I'm so excited that you have joined UA-cam. Your channel will grow very fast because your talent is very interesting and your share is real life. Blessings to you and Best of wishes. 🎊❤🎉
@silverwearbyshana I want to do this as a hobby. I tinker with it some to see if I can create something awesome. I realize it's hard work. Having the right tools really helps make things happen.
@silverwearbyshana vintage is the key here. I went to harbor freight trying to find 1. I went to my guys thrift store and he might have 1 at home so I have to go back. Yuppers Sister I'm aiming to try to keep my dream alive. I have a butter knife that's over the top fancy hope for a bracelet and a very old tiny spoon that would be nice ring. I pray that you are successful starting to go without cigs. I quit for a year cold turkey and picked it back up after loosing my brother to suicide. My friend I guess. Look at starting something new vs quitting is supposed to help you. You are amazing to share with us your talents. I thank you so much that I tried to make sure I seen everything and 👍 in hopes others see you too Bless you and your family stay safe

😂😂
Thanks for this tutorial! I would love to know how you make the other kind of soldered heart where the other side is a fork tine maybe? TIA ♥️
Is sterling silver or silver plated easier to work with ? And why? Thank you !
Just depends on what you're making with it, when working with sterling if you mess up your losing more money 🥲
You make it look effortless, but it's actually alot of work. Experience is the difference I think.
Lots of experience 😅

Amazon, hobby lobby, micheals ☺️
Those are beautiful! You didn’t list a website or any way for someone to buy?

I’m so glad to see you on UA-cam! I want to learn. What is pickle? And where do you get your findings? Thanks in advance! ❤
Pickle is a cleaner for after soldering . Which findings? ☺️
The jump rings, fasteners, earring parts, all the things! I’m looking for a source for good quality findings.

Hi, Shana! I am impressed and fond of your work! Its interesting to me what do you use for soldering silver and iron (same)?
What type of metal are you trying to solder?
@@silverwearbyshana Thanks for answer, I want to solder iron.
Oh my goodness. So amazing! What do you do with the thicker pieces... like the knives? I have some silverware but the knives have a really thick handle.
I only go for the hollow, but you can make, earrings, vases and pens ☺️
Awesome. Glad you have a UA-cam channel.
I follow a ton of 'makers' on here. Pay for add free because of this...lol
what was that you put up your nose?
Nose filter. Helps keep the dust out 🙂
Hoe goed je werkt 👍
