Clarification on the Psychostatic Disruption, it denies Reserves in a 12 inch bubble but it only delays one Strategic Reserves that come in Turn 1 or 2 not any Deepstrike like you said.
Synaptic Nexus also offers a fallback & Shoot/Charge stratagem and is the only access to fallback & shoot for Tyranids. This is pretty big for Maleceptor/Exocrine reliability as their ranged weapons are very powerful, but blast.
The way hive tyrant free strat & Battle tactic restriction interact is very bad designed, hopefully in january there is a change to that or the hive tyrant drop 60 points
What is the source for the Hive tyrant not being able to double down on a strategem that targets both my unit and the enemy? I don't believe it is clear from the text that it can't.
Sorry guys but there is no reason that you cant use the „surprise assault“ stratagem again with the „will of the hive mind“ ability. Will of the give mind says: One friendly unit within 12“…can be targeted with a stratagem for 0 CP even if another unit from your army has already be targeted with this stratagem. There is no rule that said, that i cant tartget an enemy unit with a Stratagem twice. (In the core rules at page 41). That being said: - can i use the stratagem again? - Yes. („Will of the hive mind“) - can i target on of my units that didnt use that stratagem this phase before? - Yes. („Will of the hive mind“) - Can i target an enemy unit? - Yes, because there isnt any rule which says the opposit or forbids it in any kind.
Vanguard for life. It takes a few games to get the hang of, however once you know what does what, you stand as good a chance as any. I love and hate gargoyles, they are one of our best units but they are horrible to transport.
