    Can these new emblems be converted to qd by removing the spring in the spool cap, like the gold emblems?

      Richard Curtis Yes. You can also upgrade the standard washers to carbon which means you only have half a turn to go from locked up to free running.

    have u had your diawa emblems converted if so where did u get them done as I can't find no one to put round line clips on them buddy cheers

      South custom reels fit line clips to the emblem's, 15 quid each 😉

      Chris New or buy the clip from SCR for £9.99 and spend literally 30 seconds fitting them yourself. I have just done 6 spools in 5 minutes. SCR also do an awesome QD knob, no need for washers.
