Amazing actress, with best traditional Chinese female look recent year. She was just 18 yrs old when acting in this drama. Amazing actor too, more like a man instead of a boy like other drama actors. He looks mature and natural in acting skills.
First when I read the plot of the story that captured my heart easily & pushed me to watch this another great Chinese drama with amazing actresses and actors, thier acting is full of emotion from love to betrayal actings skill from adults to kids indeed so well. I laughed and cried many times and they same time I'm feel in love watching the romance chemistry between Dr. Ning & Dr. Ruan. Highly recommended this drama to everyone from music & to the casts everything is perfect, looking forward for more drama together with the male & female lead. as an african i liked the way they portrayed africa. usually in kdrama's they make insensitive jokes about the place which makes me immediately drop the drama but so far so good? but also as an african i am pretty much aware of china's interest in africa and their plan of colonizing the place when africa as a whole has went through so much.
So the Africans want to colonize Guangzhou, do you think the Chinese will be happy? You can drive the Chinese out of Africa, but you have to remember that China is not the United States or France, or other European countries, and China is not a country of immigrants. Just finished watching the series. It was different from the others. This was an adult love story for those wanting puppy love scenes you will be disappointed. I loved the the two leads and the adorable kid. The entire cast was superb and spot on. Iam amazed at the classy acting level of the C dramas. The settings are so natural and hospitals are real. Its like a big budget movie set. Not sure what to make of the ending but thoroughly enjoyed the series and superb chemistry between the leads and the funniest jealous scenes between the two rivals. 😂😂😂

There won't be a need to proclaim a Chinese hospital was built there. In episode 5, the ML mentioned that his mom proposed a place good for their honeymoon in Africa.

Aunque la historia es mas ligera que las otras, fue buena historia, con lección de vida. To anyone watching episode 1 please don't drop this drama. It was a masterpiece. I never felt something like this (mixed emotions hahaha) after Go Ahead. I watched a lot of Chinese drama but this one hits different. The storyline was great and how it unfolds. No unnecessary characters and chaos. I love the actors they portrayed their character amazingly especially the lead actors, Dr. Ning and Dr. Ruan. You can really feel their emotions. They really gave justice to the story the writer wants to convey. It's heartwarming, funny, sad, lonely and realistic. I can see some of my neighbors in them and the reality of a doctor's life. I'm happy that I continued watching this until the end. I hope I can see more of this dramas because it's pretty rare. My most favorite character in the drama is Dr. Ning. He was so real in his emotions and the way his character interacts with other is unique. He was also the character which has major changes throughout the episodes but as it unfolds the twists and revelations, the flashbacks, You will see that it was him. He was just being him. I love him so much. Maybe you won't appreciate him because of his responses and gestures, but I love him hahahha Dr. Ruan,the one that always run after him while Dr. Ning, the one who always support , sacrificed a lot and protect her in secret. And of course, the little kiddos are the real bridge that connect the broken pieces.

To anyone watching episode 1 please don't drop this drama. It was a masterpiece. I never felt something like this (mixed emotions hahaha) after Go Ahead. I watched a lot of Chinese drama but this one hits different. The storyline was great and how it unfolds. No unnecessary characters and chaos. I love the actors they portrayed their character amazingly especially the lead actors, Dr. Ning and Dr. Ruan. You can really feel their emotions. They really gave justice to the story the writer wants to convey. It's heartwarming, funny, sad, lonely and realistic. I can see some of my neighbors in them and the reality of a doctor's life. I'm happy that I continued watching this until the end.
I hope I can see more of this dramas because it's pretty rare. My most favorite character in the drama is Dr. Ning. He was so real in his emotions and the way his character interacts with other is unique. He was also the character which has major changes throughout the episodes but as it unfolds the twists and revelations, the flashbacks, You will see that it was him. He was just being him. I love him so much. Maybe you won't appreciate him because of his responses and gestures, but I love him hahahha
Dr. Ruan,the one that always run after him while Dr. Ning, the one who always support , sacrificed a lot and protect her in secret. And of course, the little kiddos are the real bridge that connect the broken pieces.
