The backing vocalist is Jordan Fish, he was on producing for most of bmth songs and albums and the keys player from the start of the band (edit: from sempiternal album onwards😂) . Unfortunately he left the band after their last album and has been working on some projects solo(he actually produced poppy's latest singles "they're all around us" and "cost of giving up")
Key player from the start of the band? Exsqueeze me? Sempiternal onwards love. And he was a great and very important band member, but at the same time the band is absolutely fine without him also. Him and Oli were an amazing team. But Ike Oli said, it became the Oli and Jordan show, and the rest of the band didn't get a look in. Now the guys are included and the new album is amazing, and Jordan wasn't apart of much of that. I did miss his backing vocals when I saw them in Jan,I can't lie. But JJ can pull it out the bag,he was just dropped in the deep end. Him being a full member has to be where it's going. He deserves it, if he wants it.
It's funny, because a lot of fans used to be sad because Oliver sang very, very poorly live and Jordan Fish carried a huge part of the vocals. But since then he has improved his singing skills xD
There is a full "DVD" version on UA-cam. It isn't on the BMTH channel unfortunately. It has little moments in between each song where the band speaks a bit. The orchestra was formed by a violinist who had worked with the band on their albums. He got a 50 piece orchestra together with an extremely tight budget
ashlena!!! i think you should add their live at wembley concert to your list to watch. it was the first live album they released. the live at royal albert hall is the second. in my opinion it's just as good as the royal albert hall because of how emotional and raw it is. maybe it's my favorite. it's their best live concert. and you'll get to see songs like chelsea smile, hospital for souls, snakes start to sing and more that aren't on this list and they don't play live anymore. the full video is on yt. lately it's been off spotify for some reason
yess definitely ashlena should react to Wembley if she wants to see their spirit when oli can still "scream" and in the Wembley setlist it has more of the old songs, because there are many songs that never played live again until now after the Wembley. Wembley is my favorite live show EVER. I like the raw energy that oli brings to the stage. in this live (Royal Albert hall) oli is singing more than screaming bcs he hurt his voice, but in Wembley he went full screamingg
14:49 if u want to see the biggest wall of death that bmth ever made (i think) its in the wembley live when they suprise the fans to sing "pray for plagues". its also the song when invited curtis ward to play after he kick from the band.
Hearing the first notes of sleepwalking live is like no other feeling I have experienced. When I saw them live and those first few seconds started playing I felt such a peak of emotions, it is trully incredible.
In terms of sound engineering of a live performance this is up there with The 1975s ILIWYS VEVO live at the O2. Absolute quality balance of the instruments, vocal and crowd
love that the video of Go To Hell For Heaven´s Sake has portuguese captions LOL, that was an awesome journey, waited to see the Pray For Plagues react to see this now!
It Never Ends is so 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the intro part that plays again after the chorus was epic. The guitars, drums, and violins doing the intro again on that song was amazing
I remember watching years ago when I discovered them, I truly don't exaggerate when I say they saved my life, listening to them was the only thing keeping me on my feet, I cried and screamed countless times watching this performance, the absolute best ever.
I love how for this version of Sleepwalking, they have dropped from D to C so Oli can sing it better because Oli has a trouble singing Sleepwalking every single time since 2013 😭
They released the live video for Doomed first before everything else and man…. The second I saw I could purchase the audio for the whole set, I didn’t even blink. My favorite live performance I’ve ever listened to. Hope the wait was worth it 🤘🤘
47:05 The screams sound amazing in that part because he doesn't really sing it live lol, in that specific part of the song they used the studio version instead of screaming live 😂😂.
It's 6 in the morning where I am and I'm getting ready for work but I'm so excited to see your reaction to such a great show! I have started watching you since you started reacting to sleep token and we share a very similar music taste so it's always nice to get notifications or see you on my feed. I wish I had a friend like you in irl that is so passionate about music, so kind and with a great personality
Rock and metal bands have been playing with orchestras for quite some time before this show, but something changed afterwards (to me anyway). It felt like they just stepped it up a bit. And it's not even that big of an orchestra but the writing, orchestration, performance and mixing of the whole thing to me made this a new standard.
Great live performance from BMTH. Special for them too. Raising money for a good cause. Should see them perform without an orchestra you say? Try Wembley Arena performance. If someone asked me Who's BMTH? that would be the performance I'd show them. Definitely needs to be a part of your journey in becoming a fan as it's a fan favorite live along RAH.
olis vocal abilities have improved so much since this. he'd only been singing for two years when this live happened. hope they can do smth like this again bc it would be twice as epic. as for ppl telling u not to bother with count your blessings thats kinda fucked up bc it's still part of their discography whether we like it or nah😂
@ashlenamusic yeah, although it's more Oliver Sykes than BMTH, but there are many collabs that I think you might like and it would be great if you reacted to them
It was SO hard to get this cd/dvd when they released it. It was on some weird platform that only accepted UK£ and my US debit card didn’t convert so I had to ask my boss for the company credit card. I got this 4 disc set and it’s one of my favorite purchases.
Please don't hate me but I was there! It was the best gig I've ever been to, I was just like 😮 the whole time and when they did It Never Ends I cried 😂 As far as I know this was the one and only time they did Avalanche live but I could be wrong. Also not sure if you know but the gig and the proceeds from the dvd/live issues all went to Teenage Cancer Trust so it's a bit shitty that someone is trying to make so much money off that vinyl!
I’ve seen them do Avalanche live at least once, however what I have never seen live is THAT Doomed performance, and because of that know I will always be insanely jealous of you 🤣
@DaFootyChannel I thought I might be wrong on that one! Maybe it was Oh No they never did live again! And it's fine, I'd be jealous of me too 😅 The intro is beyond words but my brain freaked out the most at the It Never Ends intro 😍
Doomed always gets the most credit (obviously it’s amazing with the orchestra too) but It Never Ends is just as good with all of the orchestra imo, such an unreal show but those two are my favourites.
YES! Its hear. I totally agree. I honestly struggle to listen to doomed unless its this version now. And i love doomed. But this version is superior for sure. The build up. Chefs 😘. And the entire concert was to taise money for a children's cancer trust. And 50 orchestra members volunteered. So good. And i think the conductor is well into it. And a few choir members.😜. And im the same. To get a copy of this om vinyl would be the best gift ever. But the prices are just ridiculous. Im a late 1 for this band 2. But i do have the white 10yr anniversary of Sempiternal on vinyl. 😊😊
this link that kept appearing: it has a RU domain, so it's a Russian fanbase in the Russian social network VK. Copyright holders rarely reach there, so there is a lot of pirated content. Plus, since the war, the BMTH label has blocked listening from Russia, but you can still listen to them on Vk
For anyone who wants to see him live at the Royal Albert Hall, this guy uploaded it in good audio and video quality. ua-cam.com/video/oxraCNo2dSE/v-deo.htmlsi=YZ-aj1EcaCH9EZ6S
Jordan come back please 😢The background voice is from the band's former keyboardist and producer, they split up at the end of last year, but their vocals are incredible, if you pay attention you can hear their choruses from 2013-2023
great Reaction as always.... if u want the raw performance u should react to them Live at Wembley Arena, oli vocals in this show are insaaaaane. full show link: ua-cam.com/video/07uxu50BB4M/v-deo.html&ab_channel=MartinZapata

Such a great performance. Especially Doomed. I kind of fell off BMTH with their newer stuff. Oli had to take a step back because of damaging his vocal cords, but lately he's gone back to the old style and I'm back for it.
The performance of Doomed is probably the only time I’ve been genuinely jealous I wasn’t at a certain place at a certain time.
Same

he wasnt there from the start of the band actually, he joined for sempiternal in 2012
He wasn't part of the band until sempiternal
Oh my bad@@triplej8666
Judas Fish, Bmth don’t need him. They can perfectly pull it off without him
Key player from the start of the band? Exsqueeze me?
Sempiternal onwards love. And he was a great and very important band member, but at the same time the band is absolutely fine without him also. Him and Oli were an amazing team. Truth

Ah man I can’t wait to see them
When i become rich I'm definitely purchasing that royal albert hall vinyl
Saaaaame
In terms of sound engineering of a live performance this is up there with The 1975s ILIWYS VEVO live at the O2. Absolute quality balance of the instruments, vocal and crowd
love that the video of Go To Hell For Heaven´s Sake has portuguese captions LOL, that was an awesome journey, waited to see the Pray For Plagues react to see this now!
Why did it lol
It Never Ends is so 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the intro part that plays again after the chorus was epic. The guitars, drums, and violins doing the intro again on that song was amazing
Omg!!! I love orchestra in contemporary compositions!!! Im stoked! Thanks already...1 min in!
I remember watching years ago when I discovered them, I truly don't exaggerate when I say they saved my life, listening to them was the only thing keeping me on my feet, I cried and screamed countless times watching this performance, the absolute best ever.
Awww I’m so glad they were there for you. That was silverchair for me
I love how for this version of Sleepwalking, they have dropped from D to C so Oli can sing it better because Oli has a trouble singing Sleepwalking every single time since 2013 😭
At this time Oliver was still a beginner in singing but he was very good at screaming, now he can do both
Dude keep reacting you are actually so great. Love everything you do man
I really appreciate that!
They released the live video for Doomed first before everything else and man…. The second I saw I could purchase the audio for the whole set, I didn’t even blink. My favorite live performance I’ve ever listened to. Hope the wait was worth it 🤘🤘

Ahhh makes sense
My preferred version of Doomed & Happy Song . The orchestra and choir took it to a level I didn’t even know was achievable 🙏🏻
Same it’s incredible
My favorite song from this live is Sleepwalking for sure. The song feels more grand and beautiful in this version.
Agreed!!
It's 6 in the morning where I am and I'm getting ready for work but I'm so excited to see your reaction to such a great show!

Wait I thought we were real friends??? 🤣 I appreciate that honestly i wish I did too 🥹
Don't skip any BMTH please! I love count your blessings - I can't think of anything they've done that I really dislike
she need the full experience fr
I’m definitely going to do it

I’ll be doing it regardless!
You need to react to all of her collaborators with other artists, they are a must
Who? BMTH?
@ashlenamusic yeah, although it's more Oliver Sykes than BMTH, but there are many collabs that I think you might like and it would be great if you reacted to them

Metal & orchestra are made for each other 🤘🏽
The version of Doomed in this is Godlyyyyyyy
Count your blessings was my first album and it was iconic, dont listen to other people and please listen!
