The first episode of S. H. I. T. was spectacular. I’m looking forward to seeing more then. I loved the new work area. Kind of clean. Time to get back to work. Tell Bask I said hi. 🐠 🐟
I for one really like this format Harry! Like a lot of people, I absolutely hated the ‘shorts’ idea, and I have no idea what YT hopes to achieve with them. Great way to to think ‘outside the box’ with this, and I hope that the format is successful. Cheers for now mate!
Harry Houdini any presentation by you is an excellent. As far you're unfinished Models. It's like the Pope asking Michaelangelo when will he finish Sistine Chapel ceiling. As he always answered. When I'm finished. Keep it all you're work going. When I started checking out a number of model kit builders on UA-cam last year. I now only watch you another one.
I love your videos they helped me to stay focused and motivated to work on my model projects I listen to these videos as I build my models. I love to see more videos from your channel
Really good Harry, very enjoyable, except the wingnut wings stash almost made me cry....ww1 aircraft are my absolute favourite.....oh well, lucky you.....great video...keep up the brilliant work mate, terrific
I really enjoyed this video ... and I too hate UA-cam shorts. I'm looking forward to see more S.H.*.T. videos in addition to your longer build vids. Keep making videos, they are both informative and entertaining.
What a lovely load of S.H.I.T. Harry ! Cave tours and stash vidz are always welcome, liking the new Harry Houdini shorts 2.0, much more enjoyable. Keep being you........until the next one. Cheers mate !
@@HarryHoudiniModels You and I are very much alike, I also take ages to finish kits, and I have so many unpainted atm, but they will be painted eventually... keep up the good work and I look forward to future builds and rants...😅
Thanks for that Harry 👍. It's really nice to see the area where you do all your magic, Bask must have been busy doing her thing somewhere else. Have you ever wanted to build a locomotive model kit? I got given one but haven't really got any idea of how it would be done and painted. And as you now are 'The Wizard of Oz' could you help me out with some of your expertise. Thanks in advance. Ratty. 👍👍
I made the “City of Turo” when I was young and motorised it for my model railway. I have always wanted to build a longer many wheeled locomotive though. Maybe one day.
Like this way more then those stupid knickers, underpants, shorts what ever. Oh well guess if you have the attention span of a gerbil there fun. You've been thinning your stash my friend right?. Also have you ever did a video on that Bronco tracked boat Schlepper thing hehe??? I'd like to just see in the box. Anyway fantastic Harry. God bless
Yes the stash has gone down a lot since the plague hit and subsequent reduction in contract work. I’ve sold off quite a few WNW kits plus the larger battleships and aircraft. The Bronco schlepper is pretty much the same as the Hobby Boss one I already built years ago. ua-cam.com/play/PLNv64WC6Itdz3JiTX2DAfsSNEoMpdLRaV.html
@@HarryHoudiniModels It would be nice to announce when you sell stuff (on ebay I suppose), I'm far (California) so shipping might be costly but I sold models to Tasmania and the shipping was reasonable, could you give you vendor name (if you don't have a problem with that).
Hi Harry, greetings from Southern California. Quick question, what is the better kit, the red or white box 1/24 scale spitfire? Thanks for your time. Mark
If you mean the just released new tool red box Spitfire, then of course it’s much more detailed and a better fit. Computers designed the moldings. If however you mean the kit first tooled in the 1970’s then a White Box is better. The very old and worn out moulds used for the later Red Box release mean the kit is full of flash, warped, and has badly moulded parts, which can be a challenge to assemble.
What ever you like and can afford.. but keep it simple the first time. Find a kit you can build out of the box… then later you can add extras like I do if you’ve enjoyed the experience with the simple kit.
The Tamiya Fletcher in 1/350 is considered a very good beginner kit, and not a bad price point. It goes together pretty easy and builds a handsome ship when you are done.
If that is something you would like to build. I am no fan of Tamiya ship kits. Poor detail and boring builds. But if it works for you, go for it. Nice starter kit.
Thanks
Liked your vid very much mate, much better than the shorts you’ve made in the past, hope UA-cam are happy with it 👍🏻👍🏻😀
Good on you Richard… Super Thanks
Harry keep doing your channel the way you want it.
Thanks Robert… I will, but I also need it to pay as it’s my main source of income since the plague killed off most of my contract work.
Nice Hobby Room....I've been building kits out on my kitchen table...I like all the sunlight there..my old eyes..I've found sunlight best..
Yep sunlight is great. Except at night time :(
That opening at the start
Glorious captain rants should be your trademark
Acronyms are my thing, especially if they are a bit bawdy.
Much better than a Short, Harry, and you're quite right, we can't rush this hobby stuff. A 10 -year build? Pffft, a mere decade. Who's counting?
Exactly my point. What’s the rush? There’s no bloody race… hehe
Much better than short and portrait-mode videos. Perfect length for me too (haha).
Great to hear! Thanks matey
Nice one Harry totally agree with you about the shorts I don't even bother watching them .
Me either… they give me the Shirts!

The new format is great. Nice to see Harry being Harry in his own way.

Who else could I be? Thanks Gregory
I love the anacronym. My channel is full of it! Thanks for sharing. Cleaner than my hovel.
Doesn’t stay that tidy during the week.
Always good to see a little behind the scenes action. Cheers Harry 😁👍🐈⬛🙀

Hi Harry, Thanks for the video, nice shop and cool stash!
Thanks for watching
Love your humour and acronyms and mostly for inspiring me to take up the hobby again.
Good to hear… welcome back
Love it Harry! Great title for it too!
Bask came up with the acronym

My stash got larger by 2 last night , Aldi had airfix kits cheap when we did our shopping, sneaked them in when the wife was not watching.
Good man… you obviously watched my video on sneaking stash tips.
Yes, I have enjoyed it! Greetings from the antipodes (Barcelona)
Many thanks Andreu
Well Harry that was 'S1HT' exactly as advertised, Spot on. Glad to see the Junk in the pending stash

A good S.H.I.T. is very handy and much more useful than a short. I mean, what do most people do with shorts? Pull them down of course.🤣
And I’m not pulling anything on camera Andy LOL
Very good video. You keep doing it your way Harry. Thanks for sharing. 😎🇨🇦
It’s the only way I know how Peter
Sure I saw the covenant of the lost ark in that treasure trove! Wow... makes my freezer top space like a tent to your hilton Harry
And yet it’s now smaller than when I lived on the farm. Sold half my Wingnut Wings collection last year when UA-cam was my only, very meager, income
Nice one HH. Definitely like it, especially above and beyond the "shorts." Cool.
Well yes I am keeping it up… not pulling my shorts down on camera! hehe

I`ve got shorts, I say they are shorts so long as there is some fabric left and something of an elastic band. Very nice set up BTW.
Thanks Michael

Good to know… thanks Ayjax
I think this will be popular. Good intro to your workspace. So organised - puts my shit tip to shame! 😉
