I've spent a lot of time welded to a bass guitar in my life and Nick Campbell is next level. Such an intuitive feel for the groove and when to throw in an accent, slide or riff. Hats off.
Nick doesn't slap a lot, but those classy well placed pops and percussive "soft slap" thumb work are INSANE! The songs you do with Nick Campbell just DESTROY!!!!
Watching him play is like a masterclass every time.

The reason Pomplamoose makes for a better UA-cam band, than a traditional album band, is that on a record or CD you can't see Nataly staring deep into your soul while she sings.
As a happily married straight man, seeing how much fun Jack has playing these songs takes Pomplamoose and Scary Pockets videos from good to great for me.
