- RAF Typhoons and Swedish Air Force Gripens were scrambled to intercept a Russian air force spy plane, being escorted by a Sukhoi Su-27 fighter aircraft flying close to Nato and Swedish airspace.
Fighter jets from RAF Lossiemouth's 140 Expeditionary Air Wing (EAW) are currently deployed on Nato's Baltic Air Policing mission in Estonia and made the intercept last night.
Russia's Ilyushin Il-20 Coot-A intelligence-gathering planes are capable of analysing military communications and signals to assist attacking aircraft or ground forces.

It's one of the most beautiful jets I've ever seen
This jet can move
Well that's the entire RAF scrambled
Oh really? Hey, UK? IS THIS YOUR SUM TOTAL?💪🇬🇧❤️🙏🇺🇸
just wait till the russians hear how diverse the RAF is now, they will be trembling!
@@righteousbyfaithinChrist we have 130+ typhoons
@@righteousbyfaithinChrist quality, not quantity. 😉😉🤣🤣
Obviously you have no idea of the numbers of British fighters do u
Sir, "turn your radar on"
With the Russian air force’s current attrition rate in Ukraine I fully expect these typhoons to be intercepting biplanes in a couple of years 😂
What attrition rate are you talking about? Perhaps giving the source that you base your statement on would help.
STALL STALL
Russians are not even using jet's in Ukraine since the first year
NATO is doing the same above Black Sea, on a daily basis. There are U2s, P3s, P8s, drones, and more.
NATO is allowed
BABYLON FALLING
The wasted time to typhoon jet because we don't have enough
We've got 137 Frontline typhoons to defend this country
Russia's got 3000 jets

But when Russia intercepts their aircraft around Russian airspace it’s unacceptable. Give me a break
@@Elatenlyes but we know nato is not very international atm.
🤡
@@Elatenl
You forgot to info; NATO flies SPY PLANE .. and the intel. gathered was passed to Ukraine which results in death of Russian soldiers..
It's unacceptable when they crash into our aircraft or attempt to fire a missile at them.
Russian aircrew are ill disciplined clowns.
NATO pilots are professionals who follow RoE to the letter.
@@Elatenl 😂🤦♂️
so no different to the last 40 years then
Flying in international airspace. Exactly where they are entitled to be.
@@keithygadget381and we’re allowed to escort/intercept them when they inevitably go into our airspace…
@@mrgeorgeb0062When did they last enter UK airspace?
@@SworBeyE16 I don’t exactly have the exact date for the last incursion but the Russians have been sending TU-95s and other aircraft into our airspace since the Cold War, look it up…
Do the Russians ever give up? 🙄
Is that a rhetorical question? Because, we see the same thing before...too bad, right?
I hope everyone understands that this is completely normal. They have done this for decades, and will continue to do this forever. They are just saying hi, it happens every week of the year.
No , just try see what our military is doing and where about , nato do same thing to Russia and other countries
when they do, they are executed
no, and thats why they will win
rather doing this then trying to fly over Ukraine 😂😂😂
😮
Great work!
Off subject, I sense that discord is becoming a real threat to security.
Just shot it
well wee all don't wanna to die😂

'Riveting footage' (thank God...)
Could you imagine a NATO intervention, Russia would collapse. 😂 Peer to peer force my ass. Would be like picking on the special kid. 😂😂
Russian army is strong if they wanted they would take baltic states poland then turn nato into a nuclear wasteland
But they can't even take Ukraine after nearly 2 years? I don't deny they have a formidable nuclear arsenal though.@@hellgates_javed6451
Yawn
Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Intercepted 😂😂😂😂😂..
Better than being shot down…
