What about ________? 😂 Thanks Shannon! I live 5 minutes from the Pedernales in central TX, that’s loaded with big carp. I use one very similar to your #1. I also tied some Stupid Simples after watching your video a while back and caught several with it. Really appreciate all the info! Have a great week and best wishes. 👍👍👌
That's great! I will be doing a story on the things to take into account - the differences between - river carp and lake carp. Do you think there are any changes in the way to fly fish for river vs. lake carp?
@@Texasflycaster Thanks for the reply. I don’t know a thing about lake carp. Sorry. I know river carp are extremely aware about their surroundings. I’ll spook them 100 yards away! 😂 Look forward to your posts. Take care buddy. 🎣
Not sure which ones you are referring to, but for photographs (for me) most are easier to photograph hook DOWN and in a vise. I think that is what you are talking about?

@@charlieboutin3341 I usually weight my flies for current in river situations - to get them down in current. THANKS.
Thanks! Have a great weekend. 🤝
Thank you too
I’m confused by hook up- I’m a newbie. These hooks look like they are facing down ?
