Nice and informative video for those who wants to shift to bengalore, or getting new jobs in bengalore but are afraid of the cost of living. This budgeting thing I think only applicable to bachelors and additionally having a mindset of saving instead of showcasing. The moment you know your in hand salary, you have to make a budget by deducting your necessities like rent, foods, bills from your salary, then from that deduct your fixed miscellaneous expenses. Most people can't control this part of their expense, which is the most critical part of saving. I had a similar package as mentioned in the video at that time when I came to bengalore around 2 years back. I used to stay in PG too, made a few rules for budgeting, followed my rules strictly and used to save enough that monthly twice or thrice I am good to go for things I love. Though I kept a good amount as a provision for my wants, again, when you start your job, not always you will be able to go for trips, movies, clubs as planned. Those are added in additional savings. Another plus point is I am staying far away from those high class areas of bengalore and my friends are also not much of a party or clubbing type, usually we go for movies and short trips, but this year due to workload that is also reduced, so yeah, influence of your companions also matters. For boys, yearly twice shopping is enough, those can be easily fitted in the budget. Now recently I have shifted to a room with one of my colleague, here my savings have almost been doubled without any compromise. Only thing is you have to spend a good amount of time to prepare foods and cleaning on your own. But that's worth the saving. Hope my plan will clarify further how to live a balanced life in bengalore with minimum money.
You have put it succinctly. I started living in Bangalore in a 1bhk flat for Rs7,000 rent in 2022 at Brookfield. My total all-inclusive monthly expenses then was Rs20,000 including food, medicines, travel, rented furniture and appliances and weekend drinks at home with friends. I never visited any pubs in Bangalore as they don't make me comfortable. The loud sound makes them outrageous. My shopping is always need based. The best offers of branded clothes (of buy two get three free) at brand factory at Marathahalli were easily the best. Thanks for making the video.
@@ShivamGupta-wf5ni Not at all. I have friends from almost all class in Bangalore. I have seen young guys in their early 20s working as security guards, street eatery cooks, lab assistants, cable service man, etc come together on weekends and having a blast in one of their single room houses on the terrace with Old Monk. Even I have joined their jamboree. I was always the cook. Very nice crowd -- noisy with interminable drinks. I don't think they are paid more than Rs20,000 a month. They even send money to their home in village.
Brookefield? Do u still live there? Can you please let me know the exact location, I've been searching for 1/2bhk since last 6 months, the rent is nowhere near to what you have mentioned. If you know any 1/bhk homes around Aecs layout please let me know Would be really helpful

I loved the video, this shows an engineer's life in two different timelines....anshika is well settled in her career has multiple source of income and can afford 35k lifestyle whereas ansh is starting out his career has a limited income and loads of ambition......people like ansh will definitely succeed in life and will provide a lifestyle like anshika to his family in future. All the best. ❤
Bangalore is most affordable city with best weather and great people to meet and grow. If you learn some 20-30 words in kannada even locals feel happy and you can live peacefully. If you go little further you will find 1 BHK houses in 7k too but need to spend 3k in travelling in metro or bike. If BMTC is not crowded it's even more good.
Level headed nice guy , but am concerned about his food and diet! At his age, he needs to consume healthy nutritious food and knowing PG food, he may not be getting it. Plus there are other expenses like fone bills ( personal fone ), medical bills etc. Proud of him for being so grounded, kudos! Nice guys do go far in life!
Best thing about Bangalore is that you will find quality things even if you aren't spending much..the older Bangalorean Gentry is pretty Good..lived there for many years found locals were genuinely good and honest..i am talking about 8 years ago..
Very normal for boys... But after a certain age, he will himself become like you - takeup a 1RK/BHK for peace of mind and spending will be around 25-30k. Even I dont do shopping or party or booz but still I end up spending 20-25k every month. Major part being rent which is ~13k including utility. Rest 4k for food and 4k for fuel. Earlier I used to live in PG for just 7k but soon realized can't live there just for long.
U can survive with easily if u dont chase after this fancy lifestyle. I am fresher with around 23k salary in hand. I save around 10k and i pay 7k for pg(u can get decent 1rk for less ) and spend around 6k for food(400 g of chicken everyday since i work out everyday at gym). I quit drinking and smoking everything and help me save a lot. Yup i save up some money buy the things i like after saving up for some months and after giving it some thoughts.I have seen my colleagues spending way less than me too and seen senior colleagues who got higher package not having enough at the end of the month. It really depends on the person and lifestyle u want to live. I hope it helps
I am staying in Electronic city phase 2 working in TCS. I am staying in 2 Sharing PG and paying only 6000 rs . Free wifi, washing machine everything is available. Even food is also excellent. TCS and Tech Mahindra are in walkable distance. you can come to have food to PG.
I've been spending 10-12k pm since 5 years. 4 years in Chennai and 1 year in Hyderabad. Switched 3 companies with 40%, 60% and 110% hikes. Irony is, I've seen interns in my company complain about getting 18k as stipend.
@@JedyTechnical I'll give you a hint (can't name it) , it is a chennai based MNC and one of its founders wife is among top 5 richest women in India. Also that stipend amount is for Btech CSE/IT, campus recruits. No idea about MCA folks and off campus

I have lived in Mumbai on a budget of less than 6k and in Hyderabad on a budget of less than 8k. As the saying goes, it depends on you where to spend money and where not to. The world is designed to make you spend as much as possible. The money saved on fixed expenses can be used to travel to nearby natural places for enjoyment.

Anshika since your so candid about money and expenditure , am interested to know what kind of financial goals u have , am sure with your capability , grit and smartness you will be financially sound . Or does your financial goals pale in comparison to academic and career goals which would mean that you would give quite less importance to maximizing your financial potential . And since house / property purchases are a good chunk of one 's earnings do u keep upgrading your dreams / or you would be delighted at a modest (decent) one
He is telling all the real life factors that a fresher face when he/she comes to bangalore. I can relate with himI just think he is male version of me😅 because I am also come to bangalore from haryana and his name is also similar to mine😂
There is still more reality to know. Price of PG completely depends on which location u need. If u want a clean PG in Whitefield it will be atleast 9k for 2 sharing even after spending 9k u wont get great quality of food. In the afternoon u need to spend money on the lunch. And somedays u cant even eat pg food because of the taste or quality and u will be bored of the pg food within 1-2 months. so it all depends what kind of life u want to live in terms of food quality, cleanliness and all. its not like spending 15k-20k per month is waste. People need to understand their income level and based on that they need spend. Btw its very difficult to survive in bangalore in 10k because of commute cost, food, weekends and all.
long term he's going to settle on top and free while the high standard people for the sake of peers , pressures are gonna roam around hiding to avoid credit goons 😅. High street✌️

Currently I'm in IITD and placed in Qualcomm or ap aaisi video dikha kar mere jeheen m dar baitha rahe ho😢 paise waise dekhe jaeyge lakin aakele kaise raha jayega🙂
I also lived in Bangalore and I also lives in 10k and that time my rent was 7k in pg and 1k on food and 2k on traveling to different places near Bangalore on weekend. You can survive in 10 k in Bangalore with all fun its only depend on how your expenses is.
I would say to the guy in the video.. there is a suitable time and age for everything. Just taking one instance from his answers “Mujhe lagta hei, abhi party karne ki zaroorath nahi he” Bro, there is an age for everything. You cannot enjoy the same sort of parties which you can go to at 25 years, when you are 35 years old and having a family. There is an age for everything. Just one thought from my side. Amidst all the saving and budgeting “DONT FORGET TO LIVE YOUR LIFE”. Time will never turn back for you. Glgf 👍

Khana tho pg mai bhi milta hai.. Han i agree it becomes boring.. But saving is a key 🙌
Didi job lagado yaar 😢
It all depends upon person one can have a tea roadside 10 Rs or one can go to star bucks and spend 1000 Rs. One can stay shared accoodation monthly 6000 or pay 3 bhk rent 60000 as per once capacity, priority or definition of spending money
I pay 8500 with food at my PG and my expenses are lesser than 10K/month and that is less than 4% of my monthly income. I don't feel like that I'm just surviving. I'm happy with what I have, knowing that I can live for the rest of life without any problem even if I lose my job tomorrow.
Bhai What job you are doing there ?
Bhai, where do you stay?
I stay in Mangammanapalya, close to Hosur Road in a PG and I work as a AVP of product for a major tech company.
Very disciplined & brave boy.
Vansh bhaiya aap bohot disciplined aur ambitious ho ❤

10k in 2 sharing rent + 2k for food from outside +3k for party /trip near blr (Dont drink or go pub if wana save money)

Is alcohol expensive at bangalore?
If you know any 1/bhk homes around Aecs layout please let me know
Would be really helpful
Very informative ... Aap aise hi freshers ke liye aur video late rahiyega ... love and support for your channel❤
I planning to realocate banglore next month, this video increase my motivation how to live in banglore with less salary, Thanks Anshika for this video, keep it up. 👍
Responsibilities Makes Man Tough :)
Finally Anshika Dii is back with tremendous information

I really love your videos just because you add one the actual reality and simplicity in your conversation !! Very appreciate
Food sirf quantity nhi hota quality bhi dekhni prti hai... Aur 7000 pg ka khana 🫠..no comments

To agar ise kayam rakhta chahte ho to GF mat banana nahi to ek din main hi 10K se uper lag jate hain ( based my true story)

Nice detailed video. Thanks a lot.
Me and this guy have same thinking no party, no shopping, no extra expenses on food, i dont eat rice much we more eat roti and the main thing we both are from haryana😂
DiDi gurgaon is also not cheap, You need minimum 25,000₹ to live here with daily lifestyle.
I live in PG in Blore. Kaikondrahalli area. My spends are:
6.5k: PG
I eat lunch in my PG because PG is nearby.
4K : food weekend outings and Food
500: Essentials such as Mobile recharge etc.
1000: Miscellaneous expenses
Great
I was concerned about not getting more than 60K/M as fresher because I want atleast send 20K back to home. And thought I would need atleast 40K to survive in Bangalore.
Good to see that I would be able to adjust even with 30K/M
But do hope for better pay lol
Great doing bhai. Hum logo ne v starting me 10K me survive kara hai bangalore mai silkboard and BTM stage 1 me rehkar.

Oh that’s as well very affordable
In which PG do u stay? Is it a twin sharing or triple sharing for 9.5k?
@@ujjwalvarshney9374 double sharing 9.5k and triple sharing 7k
Anshika since your so candid about money and expenditure , am interested to know what kind of financial goals u have , am sure with your capability , grit and smartness you will be financially sound . Or does your financial goals pale in comparison to academic and career goals which would mean that you would give quite less importance to maximizing your financial potential . And since house / property purchases are a good chunk of one 's earnings do u keep upgrading your dreams / or you would be delighted at a modest (decent) one
Bro saying he's adventurous but he never goes on trips or anything. Confused. 🤔
Adventure in room. 😂
He is telling all the real life factors that a fresher face when he/she comes to bangalore. I can relate with himI just think he is male version of me😅 because I am also come to bangalore from haryana and his name is also similar to mine😂
Great Vansh 👍
Living in Bangalore from 25 yrs and now can't imagine living in 10k per month
why I see vansh like me..
no drinks, party clubbing just focus on goal.. 😂😂

You can survive in 10 k in Bangalore with all fun its only depend on how your expenses is.
I would say to the guy in the video.. there is a suitable time and age for everything. Just taking one instance from his answers
“Mujhe lagta hei, abhi party karne ki zaroorath nahi he”
Bro, there is an age for everything.
Glgf 👍
