The red sugar health bonus doesn’t activate unless you’re damaged and heal from it just fyi.

I had a run a couple of days ago in the salt mines in which the evac ship dropped on top of one of the stalagmites off-screen, and the walls that dropped blocked the exit ramp, so I didn't make it the ship in time. It's very unlikely, but a risk unique to the salt mines - have to leave a few extra seconds on the clock just in case.

I once had the entry drop ship land on mokmite. I received all 20 before the actual start of the round; the gold and exp was not given.

I think the Recon Scout with double Death Spiral (Zhukov and BRT, ideally with piercing on the BRT) is way easier and more consistent - you don't have to dodge anything, since all the small bugs die before they can reach you, and the performance on the final boss is also pretty good - the damage is decent, but the fact that you can dodge with ease due to not being surrounded is the main factor.

recon scout is safer due to durability. durability is #1 most important stat to winning runs in tough maps. that is why all of gunner class are the strongest due to that fact.

The drop pod probably broke some nitra and gold when landing. This happens sometimes, if you're very lucky it can land on two patches of morkite and you get tons of xp early on
