Aww thank you sis! It WILL happen, believe it's possible and then do whatever you can to get the knowledge you need to help you with their hair journey. You'll be amazed at how much potential their hair has 👑
Thank you for sharing your story. I also had a similar experience growing up. I relaxed my hair but finally cut all of my hair to go back to being natural. Unfortunately my hair stopped growing and I was very much frustrated and ended up cutting all of my hair to grow short hair. I have a 5 months old now and I’m doing everything I can to go back to growing my natural so I could help her grow hers. Also, I’ve been trying to book a call with you but no matter how May times I feel that form, I don’t ever get to do that.
Your welcome sis! Thank you for sharing your experience, I'm so glad that you've decided to work on growing your hair so you can help your daughter grow hers. You're doing the right thing and your future self will thank you for it 🙏🏾. Sorry about that, it could be that your answers aren't meeting the criteria for the call. Please send me a DM on Instagram at @ncbynovella and we'll take it from there 👑
I really enjoyed your natural hair journey! I think it is so important to love our hair so that we help our children love their own. I always said that my kids will never know what a relaxer is because I hope to discontinue that trend in my family. Thank you for being vulnerable and honest with us! What were some of the books that you read for your daughter's hair? I'm very interested ☺️
Aww thank you so much sis and you're welcome, it's so important to create new generational cycles for our children. One of the first books I started reading was the science of black hair, I've actually added a lot of the hair books I've read over the years to my amazon shop (link in the description box) check it out 👑
New subscriber I love your channel already I love that you also include God in ur hair journey thank u so much for letting him use you your doing amazing keep going ur inspiring so much people ❤
@@ncbynovella I always wear my hair in a bun or puff that's why she always says that lately I'm wear it in space bun cornrows etc bcz I realize I'm the type of natural that hate to do her hair all the time or when my hair gets tangled n I'm very impatient so for this year I decided to do simple style I don't care it it may look a bit childish as long as my hair isn't tangled that much
It’s so interesting to me when I hear Sistas express these types of experiences? I don’t remember “wanting” a relaxer? I can’t even recall how old I was when my Mother transitioned my Sis and I from Jheri Curl to Relaxer? I really do not🤔 It amazes me how many of US had such insecurities surrounding our hair? I stopped relaxing my hair approximately 7, 8 years ago because I did a “re-touch” during a very stressful time in my life, and my hair literally breaking off into my hands as I ran my finger through it. That was it for me, and the never looked back….Never will! It has been a learning process, to find out what my hair loves and what it doesn’t. No “big-Chops”, no nothing; I just stopped relaxing and started the process of figuring out what was BEST for optimum health! I am currently satisfied with the health and condition of my hair. Length is a by-product of health.

Thank you sis 😘👑
Good work

How many total years did it take for you to reach tailbone length?
5 Years after being stuck at bra strap length for years (I've been natural for 13 years)
@@ncbynovella would bra strap length stop where your shoulders are or would It be a little past your shoulders??
No it would stop mid back so where your bra strap/band would sit (well a good fitted bra 🙂)
