    I agree with the hair grease. It was a HUGE game changer when I added it back into my regime. I noticed less breakage immediately. I cut all my hair off one year and grew it back with box braids. I washed and conditioned my hair, added a leave in them put grease on top then braided up my hair. After a year later my hair was long, healthy and I had no split ends and didn't have to clip my ends once in that year.

      May I ask what grease you use? I have tried 3 different grease products and my hair seems to hate it now, even though I grew up using grease. My hair seems nice and soft when I first use it, but by the next day it's super tangled and dried out.

    I love this video! 😍 It makes such a big difference clarifying our hair strands, so that products can really do what they were formulated for. Many in the natural hair community don’t understand the difference between broken down (hydrolised) proteins that can coat/enter cuticles properly and large food protein molecules that aren’t doing it on hair strands. I think it’s important to note out that you’re cleansing your hair effectively and clarify more often. This is crucial for using grease & especially non water soluble silicones. If people don’t use the appropriate cleansers, these ingredients can lead to buildup because they don’t wash out properly and not often enough. ❤

    Thank you Queen! This is great information. I must say that I too, like to keep my routine simple. I use what works for me. I made sure to keep my scalp clean and wash in sections. I don't do much to my hair. After washing, I twist it and leave it, until I rehydrate, moisturize and twist again. Mostly, I wrap my hair so this too has helped in terms of debris. However, I try to take it out to get some sun and air. Otherwise, my hair is put away. I try to eat as healthy as I can and drink water. Basically, I like to keep it simple. My hair is beautiful.

    For me, stretching my hair has been a game changer. It don’t use heat all the time but I’ve noticed that when my hair is stretched, I don’t have a lot of SSK. Also, cornrows and braiding my hair has helped tremendously! I do it myself so it’s not right and I use braid sheen and oil daily. Since doing that, I’ve noticed super thick new growth as well as little to no breakage nor shedding.

    DIY has been holy grail for me…. But formulating them properly people are not doing it quite right eg aloe Vera raw boiled in almond oil wet and oil should never be mixed to prevent rancidty and scalp issues, i do everything with dehydrated goods and powders no issues and super fast growth rate and increased thickness since

  • @sihamal8061
    @sihamal8061 Рік тому +25

    Honestly at the end everyone’s hair journey will be different.. Turning more to natural ingredients had made a big difference on my hair growth and thickness, I never looked back since then, my hair really hate shampoos, silicones (drys hair afterwards), grease and anything that’s not natural.. When I looked back at historical women most of them had knee, ankle hair length and even longer, but we rarely see that nowadays it’s actually the opposite everyone is suffering from all types of hair problems and breakage. When I deepened into it it’s because they didn’t use or have man-made products, they even considered soap to be harsh on hair, our shampoos nowadays is even worse then soaps so they only used natural ingredients and I could see why their hair thrived, when I started to do the same the dryness lessened so much, my scalp itchiness stopped, my hair now is just much easier to manage and stays softer longer (I learned exactly what they did so I can get better results as well not every natural ingredient will suit everyone’s hair, if it doesn’t make your hair thrive then your hair doesn’t like it).. No wonder when we see Yao women in China who use rice water as shampoo as well in Africa women who use chebe powder, and let’s not forget India they are the most people who use natural ingredients from shampoos to conditioners, hair treatments (henna, hibiscus etc…) and oils, ALL of these women have one ☝🏽 thing in common is a very very long, thick, healthy hair.. I can cut my hair now (which I did) without worrying because it just grows fast unlike in the past even everyone sees me says the same about my hair growth, I have a mixture of 4a, 4b, and mostly 4c hair..

    Thank you so much for this video it is no accident that I found your channel, I actually pray over my hair and I am so in love with my hair. I just cornrowed my hair back down for a new set of crochet braids because my hair thrives when I just tuck it away and take care of it in my crochet braids. I spoil my scalp by washing weekly, prepoo, and seal. I went back to hair grease yes I said it hair grease lol it just works for me that softee indiann hemp from Dollar Tree , my hair is thriving like crazy and I hardly see any strands of hair come out back to the basics for me. I do a deep conditioner and hair treatments when I take my braids down. however I maintain a weekly regimen no matter what. This video reaffirmed that I am on the right track. My hair is now a full BSL for the second time in my like lol, I can feel MBL by the end of this year or sooner. Goal is WL patience and consistency I will get there. Thank you again. New subbie.💞💞💞💞
