The most surprising thing is you didn't seem to use GPS and Google map as you walked around.
I don’t think a lot of people do that but that’s like a lot of times I don’t do anything. Just walk 🤠
FYI The Huê imperial citadel was heavily damaged during the one month ferocious battle between the American Marines and the North Vietnamese soldiers in 1968 ( the Têt offensive ) . The current Vietnamese government is trying to restore that huge complex , but so far they don't have enough funds to finish the work .
they do have but it is currently not because of corruption.
