I am getting this filter for my 36 gallon aquarium. I have used the larger filters before on my 75 and 55 gallon tanks. Absolutely love them. So easy to maintain, and yes, the self priming feature was the selling point .
Hi ..nice and very detailed...ordered mine today...6 gallon cube, hi light, co2, dirted experiment. Jungle. lol...bit overkill but want 10x water filtration. Cheers
Hah, maybe a little overkill. I do the same with my tanks. The only issue you may run into is too much flow in the tank. I'd love to see the setup if you cared to post a video about it!
Hi...never though about a tank vid myself....if (or when lol) its good enough to show I would love too...hey might be a while as its nothing special yet. Still tinkering with its......thanks for the reply... @@aquamenagerie
The motor itself is pretty much silent. I think it's because the motor is under the surface of the water. I will say that if the water level in the tank gets low because of evaporation, you get a pretty loud gurgling sound from the intake pulling air in. I have a good lid on my tank so hardly any evaporation; not an issue for me.

@@LesliePerrin It’s been about 7 months now and I’m absolutely loving this filter! Highly recommend.
I'm getting my Tidal 35 this week, then I will get me a portable power station next month to cover power outages.
@@ErlankBru Right on. A backup power source is high on my list as well.

Very informative, thanks for the information and your service. Nice ‘cep’s
How quiet or loud do you find this? (Talking about the mechanical noises more than the water sounds.)

These don't have "motors".
They are Electomagnets that cause the Magnetic Impeller to Spin.
@@apaulmcdonough2170 that's very cool, just like "brush-less" motors.
