Scott Ian Rosenfeld-Rhythm Guitar Charlie Benante-Drums Frank Bello-Bass Joey Belladonna-Vocals Dan Spitz-Lead Guitar Sorry, but this is Anthrax’s TRUE lineup!
Funny, I'm also 19 and find myself loving Anthrax more and more. Shame that for the longest time I never bothered listening to them because I thought they were a "loser" band
Yea I'm really not sure where you're getting underrated from.....they're literally on the levels of Metallica,Slayer, and Megadeth known as the "Big Four"
I think the issue is Anthrax are the ones who didn’t restrict themselves to Thrash, playing classic metal, speed metal, /inventing/ rap metal with I’m the Man, etc. They are the most musically diverse of the Big 4 and so they can’t be as poster boy as the other 3.
I remember getting the VHS of this tour, I had to order it in to the local record shop that didn't really sell anything heavier than the scorpions, I remember putting on the TV when I got in and it was the best and fastest thing I had ever heard at that point, I still have that VHS cassette.
Frank is a seriously under rated singer, he can really sing, look up some of the solo stuff he's written, don't expect to hear anthrax, but you get to hear just how good his voice is.
@@Zack_Euler consistent discography, both singers were good and matched the band the times they were in it, has fun/goofy and serious songs, one of the first metal bands to incorporate rap in their music that wasnt shit, none of the members are assholes and stop shows to rant about shit (megadeth), doesnt take themselves too seriously (slayer mainly kerry king), and they still perform at a high energy and theyre shows are still "metal" shows where you can mosh and its encouraged (metallica)
@@groovefiend25 u can still mosh at Metallica concerts, yeah the pumped out some pussy shit mid 90s to the early 00s but their first 5 albums are still fantastic
@@Zack_Euler thats true for the albums. and ive never seen a pit in any recent metallica live shows on here but i could be wrong in my statement. i will say one thing i forgot to mention was anthrax shows are affordable at least to the 3 i went to. only paid $40 where metallica shows are very expensive if you want good seat or to be in the pit id imagine. and i wouldnt wanna be in a seat at a metallica show
@@groovefiend25 thats very true, the tickets i had for a decent seating in August in Buffalo were pretty expensive lmfao, but I also saw a few moshes around me, they werent anything like they used to be but i still love em
Got to see Anthrax this past Wednesday night and was singing along to this.. threw in a *RESPECT MY AUTHORITAI!* after one of the choruses.. cracked up the peeps nearby lol.
NFV what an awesome video. Still got my vhs cassette of this. KISS tshirt made my day. Met the band at the petrol(gas) station I worked at over 30 years ago, when I couldn't get time off to see the gig in Manchester UK, tour bus needed fuel and they all came in to say hello to a fan. What a great bunch of guys. One of my happiest memories. Thanks guys
Saw them at the Orpheum, Boston, 1987. They absolutely blew the roof off of the place. You couldn't go wrong back then, seeing them, Megadeth, Metallica, Maiden......
This tour came to the Edinburgh Playhouse theatre and it was sold out - ground floor circle and both upper balconies full and i remember a huge Anthrax banner which fans had made and draped it over the upper tier balcony - what an atmosphere - best ever !
There's been a lot of names given to those "knee length shorts" the guy's are wearing, "Beach shorts", "Surf shorts", "Hawaiian shorts", "Party shorts". But my favorite was SKATER shorts ! They were trendy back then with us Skate (Punk-Crossover-Metal) Kids from 1987-1990.
Wow this brings back freakin great memories it was an amazing gig, in the days of Scotties big not signs!! I still have the band signed video of the whole gig !!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤘😎🤘

Sorry, but this is Anthrax’s TRUE lineup!
Ben Arneson all original but dan holy shit!
True
Danny spitz RULES!!!🤘🏻
How can they have two JUDGE DREDD movies and this song not be in either one!?!?!?!?
That’s fucked up. My guess would’ve the same reason no metal band ever played at the super bowl. Metal isn’t mainstream.
That is definitely a crime.
Ian said when they wrote the song it was based of the comic book not the movies
@@troyskillman5397 understood but still not using the song in either movie is a crime
48 years old. Saw them for the first time when I was 15. Loved that show!!!!!!
I just turned 50, I saw them this passed Jan, first time I saw em was in the 80s and countless times in between.
We had the best everything growing up
I am 19 and I am in love with Anthrax now more than ever. One of the formative bands my dad introduced me to.
Your dad has good taste!! 👍💪🤘
Funny, I'm also 19 and find myself loving Anthrax more and more. Shame that for the longest time I never bothered listening to them because I thought they were a "loser" band
I think Joey's voice and them never taking themselves too seriously is what made anthrax the better of the "big 4" bands.
And Charlie's drumming 😄
Can’t forget frank bello working that bass
Fuck it, should add Dan and Scott aswell 😆
Most underrated band ever.
ANTHRAX ROCKS!
Il Sodale Metallico. That's right, despite the fact, that they are in the "Big Four"
Yea I'm really not sure where you're getting underrated from.....they're literally on the levels of Metallica,Slayer, and Megadeth known as the "Big Four"
ILYA ORLOV exactly
3 decades later they're still rockin!
Maybe OP means Anthrax should be on its own level.
Anthrax is underrated best of the big four. In my opinion
I think the issue is Anthrax are the ones who didn’t restrict themselves to Thrash, playing classic metal, speed metal, /inventing/ rap metal with I’m the Man, etc. They are the most musically diverse of the Big 4 and so they can’t be as poster boy as the other 3.
Thank you Public Enemy for introducing me to Anthrax! Frank Bello kills it on bass. His tone is killer.
Some people break Anthrax down to eras by singer - I do it by Scott's hair and beard.
That's the law.
I Am the Law is basically a perfect thrash song. All of the riffs blow your head clean off... fuck.
Anthrax IS STILL THE LAW!!!
One of the greatest Thrash Metal bands of all time! 🤘🤘
I was many years without hear anthrax, now I m addicted again!
Amazing band! Long live
If you ever get a chance to see them live do not miss them, the energy and performance they bring is amazing.
@@kevinrodriguez9701 How do u know? Ahaha. Yep, I spend chances to see them...

😲 they kick ass
Nice! And I see you are a sith lord as well.

Nice observation my friend.
Love the name by the way.
Thrash is the best music ever created
What about Slayer, though
Frank is a seriously under rated singer, he can really sing, look up some of the solo stuff he's written, don't expect to hear anthrax, but you get to hear just how good his voice is.
his vocals on ‘’make me laugh’ are very good
Not heard any solo stuff but he is awesome on I am the Man. Also pairs up really well with Joey.
Frank can play bass and mosh at the same time what a legend
Underrated as a band full stop best of the big 4. In my opinion. Never sold out. Just fun happy thrash for fans and themselves 🤟🤟
Scott ian has the coolest stage presence in metal history . Always tried to imitate his moves
Nottingham Rock City 1987 - lost my shoe! what a gig.
Joey Belladonna has a fantastic voice.
He is the voice of anthrax without a doubt
the best of the four.
nah

So effortless with all its power, complex structures, musicianship and everyone singing backing vocals... Anthrax is so damned awesome.
Pure adrenaline, fantastic live performance 🤘
Love this album and era of Anthrax so much.
It's been OVER 20 years since the last time I saw an image of Scott Ian with hair, I had almost forgotten what it looked like haha
YESSSSS! Awesome song, awesome group and awesome comic book!!!!
They need to re release this concert on DVD or something. I had this back in the day in VHS. It fucking rules!
They did, on the expanded deluxe edition of the _Among the Living_ CD.
Got to see Anthrax this past Wednesday night and was singing along to this.. threw in a *RESPECT MY AUTHORITAI!* after one of the choruses.. cracked up the peeps nearby lol.
I had tickets for their europe tour end of last year, but they canceled pretty much the entire tour, so probably wont ever get to see them live :/
1:10: love Bello’s sweeping headbang.
Although I have a normal length haircut, I've still tried to figure out how to do it
Any ideas?
I saw them on this tour. It was a killer show.
Seeing Anthrax June 17 with SLAYER!!!

Talk about a dream come true. You couldn’t see them because your workplace is shorthanded so they miraculously show up to see you.
My friends and I must have watched this concert on VHS 20,000 times in Junior high.
RIP TMNT V.
I was there hell yeah 👍💯

Charlies double kicks in the middle of this song though... furious!!!
Loudest gig I ever went to.
Whenever I jam out to this, so do my coworkers! Insane live version of this gem!

Saw them in London in the 80’s supported by Living Colour. Both were amazing

Heavy metal was the last true music type. Help bring back all rock AKA thrash metal ,heavy metal, glam and rock and roll
Please not the glam haha
Jesus the tempo of these guys is all over the place.
I love it. Really gives the energy of the song a cool dynamic, especially live
Its played like this on album
Ok nerd
Saw them last night in Cincinnati. Wigged the fuck out when they played I am the law since I was wearing an anthrax shirt with dredd on it
Was there too, great show
Charlie is absolutely the most kick ass metal Drummer ever! \m/
Vintage Anthrax at its best! 🤘

oh, and Dan Spitz is so underappreciated as a guitar player... change my mind
...and that That Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle guitar was the coolest guitar ever. RIP TMNT V.
With his gun and bike he rules the streets!!
They had more hair back then. I love you guys no homo.
Saw these guys last night in Manchester! Awesome gig, mental crowd and an awesome atmosphere! Seeing imitation of life live was amazing!
