I don’t usually sign-in to comment, but… I’m currently stuck on this level (which a few Reddit users suggested might be the hardest in the game, because of how little time there is to complete it). I can understand the charge shot into the goal at the end, but the shortcut you pulled off at 0:54? 😳 Wow, am I really expected to pull that off? That’s the part I usually die on (when I try to take the ‘normal’ route, that is). It’s just… wow, and that’s not even taking into account trying to pull off the other two challenges… I’m not sure I can do this one, if this is what’s required. 🙁
@@adugdale I guess we’ll have to wait and see someone do the challenges, but once someone posts that, it will probably reveal a trick that neither of us thought of.
that short cut isn't needed tbh. The helper tool in the game shows you the intended path, you just need to be quick and get to the next platform around 0:45 before it moves out the way, then drop down to the platform below and you'll have enough time. Still difficult but it doesn't require a risky spindash.
You can also save a cycle on the second ring by spin-dashing + bouncing across the gap as you are being raised up. This saves time for two of the missions, and is more repeatable IMO than the quick timing needed for the intended path
The most effective shortcut I've found is at 0:42, when it rises you spin dash leftward to the platform with the bunch over it, then leisurely make your way over on the same cycle. It's a lot more reliable than Future's skip appears to be
I just clipped off the second platform and was intending to land in the middle circle so I could then finish but somehow I did it so well I landed in the goal! Took many attempts however.
