Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is maybe my favorite holiday song and it was so much fun to reharmonize it for this video! I hope it becomes part of your holiday listening, this season!

You should also take just the song and release it as its own video.
Your harmonic approach brings life to the song ! I like the way you re-harmonize it.
Aimee, I love your Nebula classes they have helped me so much! I would love to see a class on Progressions and how they tie the music together. You’re the Best!
jeez that's beautiful.
Excellent Aimee , lovely acoustic guitar playing with nicely chosen grace notes , excellent chord choices and beautifully sung 🎉🎉
I find reharmonisation to be such an exciting part of music, so this was a wonderful watch. I apologise for that person down in the comments saying such needlessly-rude things. It seems that they don’t appreciate the fact that they have this treasure trove of musical knowledge made so freely-available and accessible by you.
Regardless of that, however, this was a beautiful arrangement and I’ve learned a lot from it. :)
Lovely. I'm inspired to try my own reharmonization --- not that it will approach this, but what the heck!
Congrats 🎉🎉🎉 Aimee , what a beautiful sophistication on this Christmas song bringing more tools to your singing & pianistic repertoire.
Stay blessed and fantastic kind regards Mr Worrell Robinson...
Aimee this was masterfully done.... It actually reminds me of the way Jacob Collier uses relatively innocent sounding chords like triads or slash chords to sound so mind-blowing. Its really humbling to know that you dont need to use "fancy" extensions and altered chords to do this.
Thank you for this & wish you a fantastic year ahead :)
I absolutely love it!
Wow that was spectacular! Thanks for all you do. Wishing you the warmest most delicious New Year starting right now.
This is so inspiring thank you!
Sweet! Beautiful Vocals Love !
Very cool concept. Thanks, Amy! Happy Holidays!
Such a beautiful arrangement! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to try it on the piano
What a voice Aimee ! Beautiful harmonization ! Happy holidays !
If she was that good she would be a sold out artist touring the world right now but she isn't. She is giving free piano lesson on UA-cam for peanuts.
Really interesting- in the language of melody, this changes the message from hopefulness and reassurance- (stop crying, Margaret O'Brien!)- to pensiveness, searching, and finally acceptance (but now Margaret O'Brien breaks down completely and has to be sedated). An answer becomes a question with no certain solution. And while the lyric supports either treatment, the darker original lyric might really cast some shadows in this interpretation. My favorite Christmas song (I especially love Connie Francis' version), so I love this tinkering under the hood.
Thanks Aimee for this new video❤
Your voice is like catnip to me
it's so good
This better be on Spotify!!!!!
The new york pianist device sounds like something Bill Charlap would play.
Lovely reharm. Some great devices to remember. F7 to C# minor is surprisingly smooth.
Season's greetings!
I love bill charlap
Gorgeous.
Well done ❤❤❤
your brain!!!!🤯
6:43 This reminded me a lot of Mozart's harmony in his last Requiem. In Lacrimosa ( ua-cam.com/video/k1-TrAvp_xs/v-deo.html ) at 0:38. The only difference being the key of Dm instead of G/Em and the last chord is E(b5)/Bb which would be F#(b5)/C instead of D7/C in your example. Also Mozart keeps on going up until well it doesn't make sense anymore.

Aimee, this arrangement is both brilliant and beautiful. How I’d love to play the guitar part with you some time. I can’t help but think of Jacob Collier as well for the modulations, though I can’t recall which specific arrangement of his is closest to employing similar devices
The Christmas Song maybe
Ahoy mateys! Good stuff. We're searching for LIVE talent. You're welcome 2 us during this year's #OSS2023 "Operation Secret Santa," campaign.
I signed up on Nebula, but can’t find the PDF for this song. Also, is this particular video supposed to be ob nebula? Thanks.
It’s a link in the description of the video
Oh mannnn I think my upload failed. Give me an hour or so. Soooo sorry
Got it. Thanks
Hi Aimee, I'm totally blown away by how you've transformed the song with those key changes! Speaking of which, it reminds me of David Foster's 'After The Love Has Gone' - another masterpiece that brilliantly uses key changes. That indescribable, floating feeling in the song, how do you think it's crafted? Would love to hear your analysis on it!
Lovely except for the dissonant chords.
Dissonant chords are also lovely 😮
Good thing you are not on American Idol cause Simon would grill you to oatmeal.
let’s hear you try and sing! i’m sure your 3 subscribers would LOVE it. you’re projecting i fear… aimee has a beautiful voice and all your comment does is out you as single, unemployed, and unbearable. get a job
I have no idea why you think viewers want to see or let alone enjoy you sing. I thought this was a free piano lesson channel.
Merry Christmas, Mr Grinch.
