Improve your mental health | Hugging trees : a new way to release depression, stress, loneliness

  • In Iceland, people have started a practice of hugging tree which is not only found to help reduce the mental stress but can also help in rebuilding the connection of ourself with nature. While thinking about going out to hug trees sounds pretty silly, but research shows that living near a forest makes people happier and increased connectivity with other living things (plants and animals) reduces stress and increases happiness.
    On top of that, we know that social isolation can have significant impacts on our mental health. Even if you don’t plan to hug a tree, it’s important to get outside in a natural environment. Research shows it’ll make you happier and feel more connected despite social distancing.

      Yaa that's what I'm saying a one of the best research fellow of iitgn in his field and also a nature lover , is talking about something it can't be illogical and weird..😊🙂..I'm sure it'll work we must try it .
