This was such a great channel.... To bad top gear is using it for plugs. Instead they should grow it into something that promotes Harris and grows his fan base.
It looks like they don't have a hold on the "Chris Harris on Cars" brand, so that's good. Either he has denied their right to use that, or they haven't asked for it. Either way I see that as somewhat positive, because it means that after his stint on Top Gear, he will be wealthier and he will still have his personal brand (being his channel name) to go back to.
Well, he's being quite well compensated for the use of his channel :) I for one am just glad that he's landed himself a gig that fits his talent, his success is well earned. It's a well known fact that the youtube stuff was barely paying the bills.
Paul Feldioreanu thats true but the question is what is after topgear (even clarkson, may and hamond moved on after all these years and got there "little amazon thing going" you know?). He has already a fairly substantial base of fans and after top gear there will be much more people knowing him for sure. He could probably make this a really well known top channel on youtube.
We want and need more of your own Chris Harris videos like before. The world needs to hear the real thoughts and feelings about a car, no matter what brand or model that is being tested and we want to hear more tech talks. Many thanks in advance Chris 😊👍🏻
ok my 2 cents here: DON'T USE THIS CHANNEL TO ADVERTISE FOR TOP GEAR. This once had the best test drive videos, it was fun and informative, and every subscriber clicked on the button for that. I'd rather have nothing in my sub feed than those 30s teasers that remind me that I should have unsubscribed a long time ago but that I decided to hope that Chris would one day come back to his fan base.
I love that Chris is still putting out his own style of videos, but what is wrong with continuing to put them on this channel? Much better functionality and much more publicity

It's quite interesting to me to see that Lotus has used an open differential (Electronic locking diff) for so many years and they've caught some flack for it. Yet, now some of the most advanced supercars are now using them. (McLaren for instance) And then here we are with the new Aston Martin DB11, Vantage and DBS SL... they've abandoned their old chassis and adopted a new riveted and adhesive bonded aluminum chassis... guess who has been using those for over 20 years? You got it. Lotus. Just interesting to me how many old Lotus principles are being adopted in new "advanced" supercars....

Since he's on top gear (argh bbc) now, I think it would only be fitting if Chris Harris wears a bikini and he poses on a hood of a great vehicle like this one. I know it's deranged but that's what came to mind when I hear the title of this channel.

The only difference is that its slightly trimmed and now has the much less fun acronym "CHD". But for anyone claiming to be a fan who needs their CHOC fix then it really isnt an issue. I think it's useful that he's uploading these here; lets me know when he's made a new vid without having to trawl TG every week.
