Even though it’s obviously not as bad as those two things, the fact that you’re even enjoying that or endorsing that it’s just gross to me personally. even if it’s just a drawing, think about what it’s depicting💀
As a Japanese person, the observation I made about eastern and western media analysis is one is all about escapism and the other is very much about finding deeper meaning. If an anime is a slice of life, I genuinely believe there is nothing more than anime girls just horsing around for 24 min. While american media, even the stupidest of sitcom has a some kind of message its trying to tell. I’m not saying Anime doesn’t have deep meaning but Japan as a whole seems to be a lot more about turn off brain and have fun. One culture is saying to please do not take anything here serious it’s just fiction while the other one is vehemently saying that this kinda of works imply some form of real life malice. At the end of the day if this person angers you, just do not consume the product, you don’t need to keep interacting with something you despise.
The art is REALLY good, my only problem is, they look VERY underage, Sunny looks really small even though he's meant to be 16. But overall it doesn't bother me much, it's not going to kill me. But would've definitely loved if Aubrey was just as tall as Kel
I kinda agree with the sunny thing, not the Aubrey and Kel one because Aubrey is just lorewise shorter than Kel. Sunny is definitely implied to be malnourished, weaker because of no real exercise, and he just hasn't gotten any vitamins and minerals from sleeping most of the day away for 4 years
@somethingcreative32 Nope. Since everyone except Hero of course is the same age, even if Sunny is the youngest of the group, he still should be 16 since the game takes place 4 years post Mari. Maybe he's 15 since we never got a proper time when omori takes place, and his birthday is July 12th, but Just a quick question. HOWD YOU THINK HE WAS 14!?
I remember a time when feet was just seen as a body part to help travel from one place to another, not a fetish to the point where drawing as much as 5 toes makes you weird
I love this Edit: i just got back from boarding school and while i was there i made jokes about necrophillia, pedophilia, cannibalism, incest and cucking my friend. All of these were in the same jokes by the way. Lol good times
No offense but, I don't like the artist's art, it doesn't do the original art justice. The appearance of the characters inside and outside the white space look similar, there is no noticeable change in age or "time skip" It's just in my opinion
No you don't get it, they have age differences. SPOILER WARNING In game, when sunny created whitespace, he was only 12 years old, and since all the other characters (except hero and mari), were in the same school year, it means kel, Aubrey, basil were all 12 as well when whitespace was created, as for mari and hero, in headspace hero reveals that he is 15 years old, and since he was at the same school year as mari, means that she was 15 as well. However in headspace characters don't grow on age, this is why omori appears shorter than sunny, and as real world Aubrey said, sunny isolated himself for nearly 4 years, this makes them in reality 16 years old while hero being 19 to 20. This is why they appear younger in headspace.
The fact that feet is being fetishized this much that ppl can't think straight while looking at feet pictures is disappointing. Almost every artists wants to make good art. So drawing feet with details isn't a bad thing.
Omorihater is a really cool guy, i dont even know myself if he really hates Omori but he is extravagant enough for his hating to be entertaining and not toxic. he's just a guy in the community who hates Omori but turns that hate into fun
Someone is inherently not cool, if they're going to spend decent portion of their time, to the point that they actually have an account related about it, hating on a piece of media. It is just ridiculous. I mean seriously, do people really not have anything better to do ? Can't help but wonder, if these people genuinely cannot separate reality and fiction, and that's why they assumed everybody else can't. 💀
To this day people still care more about what happens to drawings of underage people than to actual underage people.. it's really such a twitter brainrot atp
It’s so idiotic and immature when they argue that it’s “literal C(heese) P(izza)” all the while they are either showing it on screen or sharing it through links. If someone genuinely believes that it’s literally that certain kind of material, then why are they showing it on screen and/or sharing it then? It makes them just as guilty and accountable. And appear as a hypocrite.
I’ve seen and heard this whole song and dance on the moral debate/drama involving fictional content over and over again with some people just morally grandstanding and even exposing themselves as hypocrites that I’m just real tired of it all to be honest. The only thing that I’m sick of seeing is all of the toxicity and harassment that comes from this whole moral debate surrounding fictional content on social media, especially on Twitter. I believe in artistic freedom and I’m against constant art policing and people acting like puritans all the time, especially on Twitter. Yes, people are also allowed to feel how they feel towards certain kinds of art, whether they personally like it or not, whether they’re comfortable or uncomfortable with it, whether they feel it’s weird or not, that’s understandable. That’s their choice and opinion. Not all art is for everyone after all. But it doesn’t excuse nor justify any toxicity, harassment, slander, and threats towards artists. I’m just sick of such drama now.
Not justifying the artist's past cause, duh. but Omori is not the mangaka's franchise to begin with. On top of that the OMORI manga itself is sfw. Does this make being an Omori fan slightly more embarrassing than before? Probably but not by a landslide, really. I feel like these hate posts are more about making themselves look good to outsiders sometimes, rather than doing genuine... "human service". To that I say, How we love a piece of fiction shouldn't be dictated by external forces that are out of our control. Kinda the point of being a fan imo
Well i kinda agree its not THAT surprising but still i didn't know omori manga is going to be in a different au so im excited about what exactly is going to happen after the ending that they choosed i really want to see the reactions of the others but still the artist seemed innocent to me i didnt really thought that they might be a shotocon or whatever still we all can read the manga without supporting the artist which I'm sure the artist isnt going to be replaced
Bro, I wouldn't care less if an artist was a creep or not, just give me my omori manga pleaseee😭😭 I swear, anytime something cool is happening, it gets ruined by angry fans trying to cancel the artist/ game dev, it's so uncool
You're pathetic. Why do you care more about a mediocre manga that tells a worse version of the story it's based off, than the fact that the person making it is an absolute degenerate?
I respect the people who think shotacon/lolicon is gross/creepy. Shit is weird, but it ain't threatening kids like *actual* EDP445s and DrDisrespects. People need to just be comfortable with the fact that shit exists that won't suit their tastes or match their wavelengths and avoid said content. This is a war that will forever wage, I guess.
The problem isn't so much with the art itself as it is with the impact of the art. Even if it's just porn, it still contributes to a normalisation of paedophilic behaviour and can entrench dangerous ways of seeing the world.
@@budgetcommander4849 You see, I would believe you if there was *proof* of such a thing actually holding weight. That argument is effectively the same as the age old "Video games normalize and cause violence!", which has been disproven time and time again. We can agree to disagree, if nothing else.

If you don't wanna see NSFW art, then _don't look at it._ It really is as simple as that. The internet does a pretty good job these days of filtering said art out. Nearly everywhere that you CAN post NSFW art without getting banned/kicked off the platform has egregious warnings and/or filters and/or age locks that require accounts to view said art (so you'd have to lie about your age to see it). You don't normally stumble upon it by accident unless you're just careless.
"Why are the feet so detailed" Why are you analyzing how detailed the feet are.... As to why theyre detailed, speaking as an artist myself, the artist probably just enjoys putting more details into her art or at least into the parts she can draw well. Like, if you cant draw shoes for example youll probably design simple ones but if youre really good at drawing ears, maybe youll draw more detailed ears and show them more often than the shoes because thats something you can draw
Yet people who draw m3rd3r dont get called out! If you're going to condemn crime you better condem every fucking crime then. Hypocrites Artists that unalive character get away with M3rd3r, Im sick of artists getting away with m3rd3r

Omocat being a shotacon has been debunked long ago. She clarified that she misinterpreted what “shota” meant(she didn’t even say “shotacon” she said “shotaboy” on a shirt, which she mistakenly thought meant “anime boy” because she hadn’t researched the term).
@@traehignight in past, she's tweeted that she loves little boys, wants to be a driftloon so she can steal children (you can argue this is simply her poor attempt at humor) and on another tweet, she all but says that she knew shota was a word that would stir up trouble for her. regardless of whether or not she still is one, i think it's pretty obvious she at least used to be a shotacon (tweets were from a decade ago) and tried to cover up that part of her past because she knew people would come after her for it.
@@kaijotten As a long term omori fan id say its pretty valid opinion. idgaf if you like it, but personally, i dont. the manga in my opinion is super rushed and leaves important details out, and also has plot holes that shouldnt be there. its heavily implied that sunny didnt supress his memories, which is a main key factor of lore. its also not portrayed how sunny gets over his fear of stairs. aubrey is very mischaracterized and it seems like you forget that she is a traumatized 16 year old girl. all the characters are drawn like they are 10 and personally its pretty weird. i feel like the manga would be better if it was in the style of the game. pacing is absolutely terrible. everything goes way too fast and i could finish the thing in like, 5 minutes. something i dont thing it should have this short of a duration of time. overall its pretty clear that the team just tried to fit everything together into one chapter. its, pretty clear not much care went into it. as i said idgaf if you like it. but as a omori fan that has been obsessed with the game ever since it released, i dont feel satisfied with what we got. and this has nothin to do with the manga artist being weird, i personally just dislike the manga because i feel like its genuinely poorly made. I do find the art style a bit uncanny, but probably bc the characters post timeskip look so young... like Kel is supposed to be 16 or 17, why's he a twig. ppl say it's the art style, and maybe, but I feel like there's still a way to age up the characters without changing the art style. look at toilet bound hanako kun, the adults clearly look older, and the art style is still the same. abou the weird art... well I haven't seen it, dunno what exactly it's referring to
yeah I'd have to agree on them looking a bit too young for their ages, but I guess it's the moe art style sprinkled with possible weird preferences on the artist's part
Twitter people again can't distinguish reality from art. And also I love when they treat Shota or loli art the same as it was pedophilia or something. I would recommend to that users to go touch some grass.

Thats a stylistic choice. You ever notice people say this is only a problem in the west?
I kinda agree with the sunny thing, not the Aubrey and Kel one because Aubrey is just lorewise shorter than Kel. Sunny is definitely implied to be malnourished, weaker because of no real exercise, and he just hasn't gotten any vitamins and minerals from sleeping most of the day away for 4 years
SUNNY IS SUPPOSED TO BE 16!?!!?! I THOUGHT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 14!
@somethingcreative32 Nope. Since everyone except Hero of course is the same age, even if Sunny is the youngest of the group, he still should be 16 since the game takes place 4 years post Mari. Maybe he's 15 since we never got a proper time when omori takes place, and his birthday is July 12th, but

No offense but, I don't like the artist's art, it doesn't do the original art justice.
The appearance of the characters inside and outside the white space look similar, there is no noticeable change in age or "time skip"
It's just in my opinion
A reasonable take to have
No you don't get it, they have age differences.
SPOILER WARNING
In game, when sunny created whitespace, he was only 12 years old, and since all the other characters (except hero and mari), were in the same school year, it means kel, Aubrey, basil were all 12 as well when whitespace was created, as for mari and hero, in headspace hero reveals that he is 15 years old, and since he was at the same school year as mari, means that she was 15 as well.
However in headspace characters don't grow on age, this is why omori appears shorter than sunny, and as real world Aubrey said, sunny isolated himself for nearly 4 years, this makes them in reality 16 years old while hero being 19 to 20.
This is why they appear younger in headspace.

The only thing that I’m sick of seeing is all of the toxicity and harassment that comes from this whole moral debate surrounding fictional content on social media, especially on Twitter.
I believe in artistic freedom and I’m against constant art policing and people acting like puritans all the time, especially on Twitter.
