@MechanicMark613, On the plumbing water flow question: another useful bit of info would be to know if the hot water only and cold water only have the same low flow. If they are the same, it is almost certainly in the faucet itself (or just maybe both lines are kinked...). If they are different, then it is very likely in the affected water line or possibly in the faucet before the mixer. If you unhook the lines and test them without the faucet, be aware that warer might come out at much higher pressure than you would expect (e.g. it might hit the ceiling if you turn a valve wide open). And hopefully there would be a shut-off below the sink.
Clarification needed… Running AC off generator power while driving… if it’s a gasoline generator should be okay… but if I heard correctly, the question was regarding a propane generator right? Do you not recommend shutting off the propane while driving?
A propane generator is an internal combustion engine. There is no risk of airflow causing a fire. But you would need to ensure your fridge is on electric power and your water heater is off. If you do go through a DOT-rated tunnel, you may have to cut it off to go through the tunnel. There are cars and heavy trucks driving up and down the road every day that are propane powered.
My Norwood refrigerator leaked out all the ammonia, leaking at weld and propane is also lost . Can it still run on electricity? Love your show and smarts.
I have a 2020 Winnebago Horizon 42 Q. While plugged into shore power, 50 amps and with a 3000watt Magnum 2812 inverter in pass thru mode. When ever I have my 3 or even 2 ACs running and we use our Splendide dryer, (separate unit , not a combo ) whenever the dryer heat element comes on it sheds the AC. It’s does not go over the amperage limit on either line. I see about 10 amp increase on Line 2 when the dryer heater element is on and it sheds the AC. Why does it shed the AC? Never seen over 50 amps on either line on the EMS. So you think it was programmed to shed at an amperage below 50? Winnebago has no answer.
I have a 21, Sunseeker 3010 DS, I added 3-100AH batteries, can I ad in 2 more 300 AH batteries to what I already have? If so what is the best way to do it?
Todd, I have one concern about running the generator while driving. I had a Super C with a 5500 Onan that was propane fueled. The rubber hose from the propane tank to the generator ran close to the rear dual wheels! As a result I would never run the generator while going down the road for the obvious reason. I would suggest that folks who have their generators propane fueled look carefully at the hose routing.
I have a question. I'm getting ready to be on my 4th GE AC unit on my springdale, and every time my dealership tells me that the freon is low. So that means it has leaked out. It has been covered under GE warranty every time, but it's annoying to have the camper in the shop for 3 weeks. My last unit was installed in May 2024, and now it's getting replaced with the 4th unit. Do I just have bad luck, or have you heard of problems with GE AC units?
One thing I see missing on amp usage, the inverter amps. How many amps do say a 1000 watt inverter use and so on? There has to be an amp draw of some kind.
I do it every time I travel.
I did it driving cross country for my dogs.

Great videos Todd. Learning so much. Doing the pro online. Learning so much.

I've got a propane stop I put on. What do you think about them?
Great Videos Todd and Tony!!
As to the faucet. Check to make sure the valve is all the way open. If it’s just cracked open, that would have the same effect.

How do you convert watts to amps. Or how much does something draw.
@@colbyclark5532 voided watts by volts and you have amps.

@@keithallen3119 agreed. Depending on the location of the genny and the travel of the hoses.

Oh wow! Ya, that doesn't sound like bad luck to me. Sounds like a piece of 💩 unit. Sorry
Is there anyone else having this problem?
I DO.

Your 1000 watt inverter could be using 1-3amps just sitting idle.

Who exactly is asking these questions? Convenient that a battery was within reaching distance.😂
