I've never heard anything about this crunching it into gear from neutral thing, if I remember correctly, my triumph Street triple only started in neutral so there would be no way not to crunch it into first. Is this hard on the gears or something?
I just got the 2024 Kawasaki ZX6R KRT edition ABS. (First bike) I don’t know if it was the dumbest or smartest decision I could make living in A smaller town just for cruising but wanting something with A little bit of speed What is the difference between the bike I got and the ZX6R or are they the same?

The R7 is an easier bike for straightline / street stuff because the power is immediate. The zx6r is a better bike for low idle lot riding because the idle pulls naturally and the engine brake is minimal vs. the R7 which has too much engine brake vs. idle pull out of the box. The r7 is a stepping stone towards the more superior 636 platform. Grom➡️R7➡️Zx6r

If he didn't trust you and know how much you cared about the bike he wouldn't have let you ride it in the first place. You'll make it right, it will be good as new, and you guys can have a good laugh about it. Now just make sure sketch is the first one to crack up your 2024 once you get it dialed in, lol.

Bought a '24 646 40th Anniversary 5 days ago as my first bike.
1000 miles in and I can definitely say it scares the hell out of me. lol
24 cams have a smoother pull on the low end compared to 19-23. Also the fork legs to caliper are a tad longer to accommodate the +10mm front rotors

Crunching a transmission up by shifting literally how it was designed? I have never heard of such XD.
Especially with the high idle, hitting first from neutral clunks harder than a mf.

Thanks for the advice! I started off with a ninja 400 after watching your stunted 400 video. Hopefully I can grow into an r7 soon.
@@SuperCHstudios If you're comfortable on the 400 I'd say you're ready for the zx6r. I went from a GS500 to a 636 with no issue.
