I love Queen's output up until around 1980, so their music combined with that packaging is a huge win-win for me. Don't know whether Matthew Dunn cites Steadman as an influence, but the similarities in their art are undeniable.

You're right. The sleeve is a great marketing tool. I've been sold a fair few records with great artwork but dubious musical content over the years. 😄

I always liked the cover of News Of The World. I didn’t like the music so much. I agree, Matthew Dunn brings Ralph Steadman to mind.
