Cycling from La Manga to Playa El Gorguel, Spain, 2023

An afternoon ride into the hills and down to the beach in an area which would have been rather beautiful but has been devastated by mineral extraction. It was still a very good ride, but one wonders how the landscape can ever be made good again.
