This is the only review on this gun that's worth a damn. Who cares about unboxing videos. Let's see how she handles some work

It’s quite amazing how far this technology has come on these cordless tools and it will only get better with time. I just ordered a 30 degree one. It’s my very first framing nailer and I am very much looking forward to using it renovating my house. Seems like you guys are happy with them from what I can tell in this video.

This is good to know. I bought one about two weeks ago and was blown away by how convenient it was to sport these guns. I work in commercial roofing, so it gets used in constructing perimeter walling. I don't anticipate using it as heavily as a carpenter, so I'm sure this will last me a good while.
I got concerned about people telling me that they don't work with the plastic encased nails, but I had no issue with those. It's perfect for my trade.

I split the case and took a safety tip return spring or whatever from a different gun we had bent it to go in the place of the factory spring, totally changed the gun 100% not having to push hard on toenails balancing off the ground then just around general use I found it is much better for using all day not dealing with the new safety hard springs coming out in newer guns

Good review. I can see your using these guns as fast as you can which is realistic on a building site, also the speed of the guns allows it. Shame about the drive mechanism. If you guys find a gun that works two years without fault, that'll be a mean gun. Ive been using the powers track it for 13 years! Still on the original two battery's. I use it pretty hard, nothing has broken! But it not very powerful and it needs constant cleaning.. thanks great review.

We used the pasload 325xp for 5 years. They worked very good the first few years but the last 2 they were not very reliable. Also to slow for regular use.

i bet with some fabing you could make a nail stop at the back i might try and 3d print one as a concept and then could just make it with spring steal

Milwaukee without a doubt. Significantly faster and much more powerful. If your doing odd little jobs there is no difference but framing there is.

ive had my hitachi for 2 years. hasnt failed me. the compressed air chamber is refillable too. ive refilled it once and now it sinks nails harder than new. you can't refill the chamber in the milwaukee yourself.

We have the same nailer with a one nail strip magazine and we’ve put more than 14 boxes of Driven brand 3 1/4 framing nails (2000 nails a box +)and it still is running strong, what is your tool supplier? I’m just down the road from you in London, ON

    • @gingrichconstruction7242
      @gingrichconstruction7242  3 роки тому

We have had some that last more then the 8000 nails but if we average it out between all the nailers thats what we are at.
Milbank Country Hardware is where we get most of our tools.

@@gingrichconstruction7242 yeah, we bought one just to try it out and see what it was like and we’ve gotten another one and neither have been needing any sort of repair other than cleaning the magazine out with a toothbrush and good old fashioned compressed air, been over 5 months now and the first one is still pretty good

And the tool store that I go to is Wiseline tools, they have a location in alymer and tilsonburg, they’re run by a few plaudietch guys and they’re amazing, my boss goes there and he recommended them to me and I go there all the way from London whenever I need something, but I’ll definitely pay milbank tools a visit

@@whistlinframer6812 they are part of the same group as the Millbank store. There are a bunch of stores that work under milbank but each store is independently owned. You get to deal with a family business but get the perks of a big company. If you buy through them and deal there you get better warranty then many places.

So let me get the r correct info this is 1st Gen or 2nd Gen Milwaukee made on some brad nailers upgraded versions I’m not so sure but so what did Milwaukee do repair , replace was there any repair or part cost ? You mention it took around 1 month or how much to get it fix back ? I believe the issues are in their way of the mechanic they seem to use hydrogen gas hmm that sucks cause the gas will leak after time or wear , usage ugh wish they made this tools w a refillable port or just regular air and give us the option to refill w normal compressed air but again my concern is it can be super reliable after months of usage and cheap for diy or even contractor for heavy production I think that’s just not justified as they stop working I’ll say the regular air guns will be better but again the issue is AC POWER / air hose / compressors . I guess the best is their cordless compressor hahaha they consume a lot of battery 😂 ugh 😑 we aren’t there yet .

    • @gingrichconstruction7242

That is what happens one almost all of them. Low air pressure. mechanically they have dont fail for us now. its only the air.

You just gotta pretend you're up to bat. Throw an extra 5lb weight on it and swing it around for a minute. Once you take that off it'll feel lighter!
The striker assembly is probably getting wrecked from the added pressure to sink fasteners into LVLs etc.
