The invites to the fincas, sancocho gatherings and doll burning new years traditions. You know, the real stuff. Not just "whats the hotspot to find a chick that everybody knows already"
What up King LJ? You are on point, bro. I had to explain to my ex that although I didnt grow uo in Colombia, I still grew up poor. I explained that the concept is still the same. I still went periods without lights and water. We ate simple meals, menial meals, etc. I explained to her that the 'have-nots' are worldwide, not just in Colombia and to not think that the USA has all rich people. I don't know if she let that sink in, but hopefully she did. With her being older, I think she grasped the point I was trying to make, but actively chose and chooses to not consider any of that. I overall seek a peace of mind, brother. I'm old enough and been through a few experiences in my life that show me that our mental and physical health are the most important things and I am working towards maintaining both. My humble opinion, Ive noticed with some of the Colombian women that they prefer the men to do damn near every financial thing for them. I used to say 'no' to some of the stuff just to say no. I had the money, I just didn't want her thinking she could just ask and it would be given to her. Hell no. Brother, send me an Airbnb you recommend I stay at when I come down that way.
