Magic nuts and screw threads

Two nuts are moving in opposite direction although they are rotating the same way.
The bolt has a continous thread.

Alright Tom, so now that we have established that both nuts are the left nut, while I agree with you that the threads change direction half way through, how did he get the first left nut (the one closest to the head) on in the first place?
