    This is an incredible video. Thanks, Joe and Luke. I would like to see more of these videos, describing how to understand contour lines and techniques on how to coordinate it with further structure.

    Your 90/10 rule gave me the best days of fishing I've had in a long time... Wish I knew it sooner. Speaking of, I want to try y'all power prawn (and jr. size too). I'm located in Cape Canaveral Florida, what colors do you recommend? (I'm thinking white, new penny or natural, and something dark like alabama lep, or gold digger) Thank you :)

      Glad we could help! I'm checking in now with Tony and Pat who fish in that area to see what their top recommendations are.

      Coach Pat (who also fishes in that area) says he uses Natural most of the time and once in a while will use the Gold Digger. Tony sticks with Natural and New Penny.

    Good stuff, thanks. Sometime ago there was mention of updating a Red Fish Mastery course. How is that coming along?

      @@TheBoundlessNexus There are 3 "Red fish/Red Drum courses in the library, but none have been updated as yet; that I can tell.

      It's pretty far along. I'll check with the team that's working on it and see if they know what the expected release date is.

    Do you use a loop knot for that lure?

    • @TheBoundlessNexus
      @TheBoundlessNexus Місяць тому

      Depends, I like to use a loop knot for swim baits as well as jerk baits (Paddle tails, shrimp lures, etc). It just gives it wider action and allows for a little roll (which I believe makes it look more natural).
      However, sometimes fish don't want all that extra motion. When I find that to be the case (although it's rare) I'll use the ole palomar knot.
      P.s: If you want a loop-knot refresher, they have an awesome video on their channel about it.

      For this setup, yes. Like TheBoundlessNexus already said, you get some extra action out of it, so it's what we use to give us the best shot at triggering a strike. The lures are still effective if you want to use a stronger knot that cinches all the way down on the hook, though.

      I mean... it works lol... If you're good at something don't do it for free. They back their stuff up with millions of dollars in science, testing, and research. For me, it's made me a 10x better saltwater fisherman. To each their own, but I love their stuff!
