Hey everyone! Thank you for the continued support on this video. Be sure to check out the rest of the channel for more boat reviews and if you happen to have a boat in SoCal, I would love to make a video on it!
It's affordable in its class. I agree that calling it affordable is a bit much, but it's how it is commonly used nowadays to mean good value rather than low in cost in raw terms. Otherwise, the only stuff you could call Affordable would be dollar store goods. Affordable homes in my area are like 1M, so I'm a bit blase about a mere 650k. I actually tried to talk my wife into moving onto a boat to save money, since we could get more sqft for less money that way. Didn't take.
@kirank231 so? Depends on the house, and quality of life can vary wildly. Plus if you save enough money on the boat, you can invest it and end up spending less overall.
Only negatives.... No oven (which "maybe" able to be added) and no laundry (which could most likely be added if you go with a small washer/dryer 2 in 1). Beyond that, she's basically perfect.
That's why they went bankrupt...A boat in the US has always been seen as a devaluating asset. Even the uber rich recognize it's cheaper to rent one for the weekend, and anyone shelling out that kind of cash can get better than that glorified trailer on the water...Prob asking 2500 per day...The math doesn't add up. VS $500 per day, spilt between 3 guys, and the panties still drop, regardless...😂
"Yachting", is a relatively rare concept in the states. Everyone is used to boating for the day, where.as in Europe, owning a yacht is the ultimate status symbol.
Not evem close to worth that much!!! Nautistyles channel features twice as much boat,.for half the cost. Had a 98 Carver 46', asking less.than 100K...This boat lost 250K, the day it was sold!

"Affordable" has become way too subjective because $650K is NOT affordable.
It's sad boating has become a rich man's hobby.
@@Josh-hr5mc When were 40 foot yachts a middle class hobby? lol

Great video. Your camera shots, what you cover, and pacing are all great!

Very entertaining shower. Thanks for that laugh out loud.
I mean if 650k is affordable, you can say that for any yacht because any yacht is affordable to someone
AIR/HEAT?
These where known for bad fiberglass bottoms expect blisters and delaminating fiberglass.
Carvers have always been the "Ford", of boats...Almost affordable, but it will have problems...
Nice modern boat. However for $400 to $500 k I think a Bayliner 5788 is a much better choice.

how much? :)
Of course, “affordable”, is subjective- it depends on the product and the intended buyer group.
I just picked up my first boat and it’s a Carver…what’s up with all the bad reviews about Carver, Iove mine.
The carver 39my a little older boat. A lot of them can be had around 100k
You have an amazing voice 😮
I was always under the impression that their low end low budget boats? Especially the gas motors they go dirt cheap because nobody wants them ?
Yes...The "economy yacht"...But, at almost half the cost of Itallion-made boats...
Parts ?
There has to be a reason why the company went out of business ?

Got all excited watching when hearing about value - and then BOOOOM 1/2 a MILLION dollars. 😢

Affordable lol.
The worlds largest free range sanatorium. I will not support, in any way, anyone from your state. Insanity may be your game but it is not ours.
While these Modern Yachts are beautiful to look at i find the interior layout and design horrible ..!
Unacceptable
