How deep is that unit detect ? And pass from sement or other materials?
Detects objects up to 4 inches deep inside drywall. This model doesn't detect thru concrete.
How thick is that Sheetrock you are testing on and does layers of paint over the years have an effect on how well it works?
It's standard 1/2 inch sheetrock. Paint doesn't affect Walabot performance; even if it's several layers.
Can it measure drywall density, 1/4” vs 5/8”? For firewall would need a 5/8” sheet and 1/2” sheet side by side. Can it detect two sheets and their it width? Thanks
The Walabot will not detect density
No it can't
can we just stop with the silliness and do a lath and plater wall? or insulation? spray foam wall? what about glued ceiling tiles on top of ceiling drywall?
The Walabot works on drywall and plywood. It will work on walls with insulation so long as there are no metal fibers or foil backing.
