Amazing great history
Welcome to India my African brothers and sisters 🙏♥️👍
Thank you so much
Nice video. Indian Navy Maritime Patrol Aircraft fleet has three components:-
1.) Long range aircraft: Earlier 8 Soviet-built Tu-142, now replaced by 12 American-built Boeing P-8I
2.) Medium range aircraft: Earlier 5 Soviet-built Il-38 now replaced by 9 Indian-built C-295W MRMR
3.) Short range aircraft: 35 Indian-built Do-228 MPA
Other than Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard also operates 38 short range Do-228 and will operate 6 C-295W MMMA.
Other than these, Indian Navy is acquiring multiple MALE and HALE drones, some from USA and Israel, others from India. All these will also work in the maritime patrol aircraft role.
Other than Anti-Submarine Warfare, they also have role of Anti-Surface Warfare (against enemy shipping and warships) as well as Search and Rescue and sometimes even natural disaster management.
Thank you so much

India is 4th Power ful Military Country.
3:40 The sonobuoys that you saw aren't weapons. They are the "ears" that get dropped by the plane. These ears fall and then float on the ocean's surface, listening to submarine activity in the ocean around it. A single plane drops roughly 100 such ears all over the search area where an enemy submarine is likely to be and this entire grid of 100 sonobuoys can send signals to the aircraft about whatever they hear. This enables the aircraft to significantly narrow down the location of the enemy submarine and then it drops torpedoes or depth charges onto the enemy submarine. It can also pass on this information to other Navy warships in the area who can then finish the job.
This is not the only method. Another method used by the aircraft to detect enemy submarines is called the Magnetic Anomaly Detector. It detects the disturbances in the Earth's magnetic field which are caused by the submarine. Submarines are made of steel and when they float around, the Earth's magnetic field magnetizes the steel of the submarine. This makes the submarine also act like a very very weak magnet. It is too weak to cause metal to stick to the submarine, but its magnetic field causes variations in the Earth's magnetic field which can be detected by the Aircraft. Submarines usually use a process called De-Gaussing when they leave their base to prevent this, but because they stay out at sea for a month or more, the De-Gaussing wears off over time.
A third method: When enemy submarine comes up to the surface occasionally to charge its batteries or use its periscope, the aircraft uses its radar to detect the periscope or snorkel sticking out of the ocean surface. These radars can even see the waves created by the periscope as the submarine moves forward.
A fourth method: Same as the radar above, but instead of radar, it can detect the warm water created by the waste heat given off by the nuclear reactor of nuclear submarines using an Infra-red Imaging Sensor. Also, the smoke given off by a non-Nuclear submarine during snorkeling can also be detected by the same sensor from tens of kilometers away.
Wow
That's so informative
Thank you so much ❤️🙏
