The pain that your daughter experiences sounds like the earrings used for her piercings were taken out before the holes could fully develop. Try peroxide to “bathe” both ears(backside too) at least twice daily. I would recommend for at least 2 weeks. The peroxide will also help for any possible infections. Claire’s recommend keeping earrings in for at least 4 weeks. Also, it’s best to not have the backings on tightly because the earrings need to be turned. She may feel pain but keep turning so that the holes don’t close around them. Peroxide is best because it shouldn’t sting(what I bought from Claire’s did, and I stopped using). I hope my comment helps!
Agreed and sometimes it's the type of earrings. l am unable to wear Claire's and cheaper earrings. Reagans ears could be sensitive
@@mssan2016 I was thinking of including that. It’s unknown about the quality purchased. Claire’s (my local) sells finer earrings which is kept locked. It was hearing on the possibility of the holes closing that had me writing my comment.
She might not be able to wear earrings unless they are 14 carat gold or sterling silver. Some people have to always wear gold or sterling silver. The ones that are not, will hurt their ears, I am like that too. You might want to ask her doctor about it.
Was going to say that she can’t wear cheaper earrings, that actually runs in my family and can be very expensive. My daughter lost 4 pairs of diamonds I bought one pair and her dad and grandparents the other pairs.

They have doggy seats and yes, you're correct. He does need to be secure. Him sitting that close to the airbag isn't great because if you have to jam on brakes that airbag is going to hit him and then it's gonna hit you. I have seen dogs in several vlogs where they actually sit in their seat.

I know for me, I can't keep costume jewelry in. My ears start to hurt too! For me to keep my earrings in, it has to be 14ct or sterling silver. I think it's the sterling silver🤔

Check to see if she is allergic to the metal the earring is made of . My daughter is allergic to gold and she complained that the ear rings hurt her.

To be truthful, Lincoln, as all dogs, should be in a safety seat, cage, or something to ensure he is safe as well as for your safety. Accidents happen in the blink of an eye. I know you are a safe, careful drive. However, he could make a quick, unexpected move that could affect your driving. Safely is key.

Try getting her some small hoops instead of studs. My niece can’t handle stud earrings because they hurt her when she lays down in them so I got her some small hoops and she doesn’t have any problems with them.
Yes my grandbaby had the same issue and once we switched to the small hoops no more issues.

oh yeah, no. its really dangerous for the dog in your lap. in the back, belted. i have tried both, leash/belted to harness, car seat- there are tons of options ❤
I bought some nickel free earrings for my daughter from Target. They're little half hoops with a small stud on the hoop. Those seem to be more comfortable because there's no post in the back that can poke them when they lay down. You may want to try something like that.

Probably the best earrings for Reagan are the T400 925 sterling silver hoop earrings 20mm. Once you put them in she won't even feel them and she'll forget they're in. Then you can periodically clean her ears with the peroxide. There are doggy seats that he can go in the car next to you. It's just a habit you have to (firmly) develop. Love you guys!

Great vlog 😊 , my daughter's ears used to hurt when I put cheaper earrings in her ears. Once I started getting her the cheapest real earrings they no longer hurt. Maybe that can help her with them hurting.

Hey fam, yes ma’am Lincoln should definitely not be in your lap, so many animals are fatally killed from the airbag. Yes there are doggy car seats but my dog harness has a loop that the seatbelt goes through.

I kept my dog in a crate when driving, only because when she was in the passenger seat I had to do a hard break and she went from the passenger seat, to the floor.

Also, yes they have doggy car seats.. but the problem is that Lincoln might be so used to sitting in your lap, he might not sit in the car seat.. it’s worth a try though

But often that’s just a phase before it heals and all comes together! That was the sweetest moment you putting them back in w her❤!

I ordered my dog seat from Amazon and it has a little strap that hooks onto the collar for security.
My babies hate the car, but I have a backseat cover and they usually ride in the back with a seatbelt leash hooked to their harnesses.

My dog is a bit bigger at 43 lbs but we have a leash that buckles to the hooks in the backseat where the carseats hook in. And he wears a harness with it so it doesn't choke him.

So take that earring out sanitize the area. Put some neosporin on the ear, please, This will celebrate the healing. Sanitize earring, then put it back in.
💎 For costume earrings, I normally put a little bit of petroleum jelly on the pin end of the earring to glide on better without pain for my young one. I prefer to use gold or sterling silver for less corrosion like those costume jewelry on kids. 💎
I have a similar experience with my 6 yro and her earrings...if she goes days they start closing immediately . I find the lil hoops or huggie type earrings are easier because the backs dont stick her.
I also wipe her holes down with pink Himalayan salt/water mix and it helps with healing.
She may also need a stainless steel or higher quality earring. Thats how I am with my nose and belly piercings.
