I think the run up to turn 13 is one of the most under rated track segments. Nothing about it makes sense from a speed perspective and if you mess up your braking here your car will be going in every other direction. It's fantastic
You prolly dont care but does any of you know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Everett Tobias Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I got so used to running the old layout (the same track but backwards) since we used to run in the GTR2 league I once raced in. It would be cool to have a backwards version
Great series so far yorkie some very handy tips there to take in if your a new sim racer like me couple of questions for you 1) With some of the tracks in this game that are in the F1 games can the same rules and techniques be applied there ? 2) How long should it normally take you in a day lets say to learn a new track just so your not spending hours on it if that makes sense ? 3) Is it ok to take someones elses setup to get close enough to the fastest time, if your not great at making your own setup as that what i intend to do with the f1 games say off the f1carsetup website ?
Thanks, as for answering questions: 1- Not really no. For other games that have GT3 cars, more-so yes. GT3 and F1 cars drive differently, as well as being on different physics engines, different track layouts in terms of corner accuracy, surface accuracy and then the type of curbing used. The closer things are, the more you can take from this and replicate, but I'd say these track guides are fairly useless for the Codies F1 games other than knowing the sequence of corners. 2- I've done guides on track learning to do so fairly quickly. I can learn a circuit within 2 hours and be putting in solid lap times, but will continue to find more time from there. 3- It's ok to use other peoples setups yes, but keep in mind that majority of them were created for the person creating them. Differences in driving style for example may therefore not be suitable for a setup, and you may also get a setup that isn't suited for the conditions you want to use it. So whilst it is fine, there are a number of negatives. You'll learn a lot more from doing your own setups.
@@Yorkie065 ahh ok thanks yorkie for the tips i thought they both work in the same way the games i have watched your other track guide and set up guide videos before so i can kind of get what they all do but the issue for me is putting the hours in to do the setup because you have to do each bit one by one
Hey Yorkie.... you flip the orientation of the corners a lot and that makes then quite confusing.... happens in most of your videos in the aerial shots.... like here turn 1 is from one side (3:03 from left top pointing right), turn 2 is from another side (3:24 you moved camera to right and point to left and then flip again to other side on same turn at 3:40) .... it may be just me, my brain takes time to reorient. It's hard to make out which side is entry and which side is exit, there's no car in shot to make the reference and you keep flipping.
Another great track guide! Thanks Yorkie! Love this track, hopefully now I will be faster and more consistent here! (Delete the "wanna be friends?" comments without interacting with them - they are a malicious bot!)
@@Yorkie065 Very wise. I've had some success here in the Audi in the past, but I think I want to have a crack at it in the Aston V8 - I seem to be liking it of late :-)
Enable the Car Control widget in practice to get a clue, where you are too slow or overdriving. This helped me to knock of 3 seconds of my pace the other night (still too slow though :) )
Is it still in the plans to continue making these track guides? Would you consider motec files? I want to see if seeing data comparisons will make me understand better. Thanks in advance.
Doing all what track guides says, going wide, using pro setups, trail braking and all that...1:37:500 times. Acc is really killing all your self-esteem and I'm clueless what's wrong as no matter what I do I'm never getting faster
Check the pinned comment on this video and take a look at trak titan. I've done a video on it here on the channel which will be worth taking a look at, as it will allow you to directly compare your telemetry inputs with others and get feedback highlighting exactly what it is you're doing wrong.
Because that would be too easy :P But on a more serious note, don't know why, just when I did the first episode it was the settings that it used and stuck with them since. Also good to do Track Guides in non-perfect conditions so players aren't missing braking points or apex speeds on a green track.
I like you videos but I have a hard time following when you show the track from top view. I lose sense if direction and not sure what I'm looking at....may be just a "me" thing...
You can still learn from something. The lap time guides are aimed at beginner to intermediate, with 95% default setup on a Fast track rather than optimum, and are now also multiple patch versions old. My actual times are quicker than these. That doesn't mean you can't learn from the guide if your laps are quicker. There may be a corner that you struggle with and the guide helps you find that extra tenth. There have been people who are as quick as me and faster who have said the guide has helped them find more time.
Looking for a track guide because you stuck and cant go below 1. 34.5 with racefuel on fast Hot track. Find this guy uploading a guide with 1.35+ on hotlap Mode 🤷🏿♂️.
Just because you can go quicker than someone who does a lap guide, doesn't mean you can't learn something from them. You can still pick up another line into a corner which may end up working for you, and find that little bit of extra time that you're looking for.

Glad you did. Now go smash those lap times! 👍
This is a very very good video! I have a race at Missano coming up and I found about 1s after watching this 👍🏻🙌
One of my favorite tracks. I absolutely love the fast corners !

Tried Misano out during the free weekend last week. It's a pretty fun track!
Ty Amazing Job. Huge help and so well done. Thumbs up'd and Subbed.
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks Yorkie!!
Great job and videos mate!if you can make a video with differents about qualy setup with race setup!
Turns 4, 5 and 6 are the bane of my life
Great guide do you have set up guides.
I am new to this and pretty lost.
Not yet, but there will be some in the future.

Hi do you have any tips about motorcycles on the same circuits? Thx
Are these braking zones similar for both GT3 & GT4 cars?
Great informative Videos. Would love to see as an added bonus the pit entry and exits. Thanks for sharing
As in driven?
@@Yorkie065 Yes, just the entry and exit
Just out of curiosity are you going to be doing the rest of the tracks Yorkie065? as these are really helpful.
I will be yeah. I'm going to be continuing on with the series once I get my new PC built (some parts are still yet to arrive).
