Is this water base? I’m hoping to find an alternative to epoxy resin.
No, unfortunately. I wish there was a water-based formula. I've been playing around with plaster of Paris. It is fun to try different paints on it, and you can use it in the same molds as your resin. But then, you have to really like to paint for that method.
question does this resin turn hard in 24 hours

@@zorathehedgehog6341 No, you can remove it from the mold after it has hardened. If I am selling a piece, I do let it sit on the table for a few days to make sure it is good and cured cured before I send it out.
