    I can't stop watching this time and again... and everytime I love the guitar a bit more, he's doing so much of the sound there, yet so unnoticed at my first listen :D

    Marcus was Miles' Bass Player for a long time. Wrote Miles top selling album.
    Marcus and his Drummer Poogie Bell have both been playing for a very long time. Poogie made his TV debut on Ed Sullivan at 3! And it feels like the two of them grew up on the same block when they play together.

    Saw these guys play live, world class musicians. Ive seen plenty of top jazz legends live in the past 20 years and these guys were one of the tightest bands ive experienced.

    I thought the same but after watching it for a while, notice how much he's sweating... It's salty, have you ever had sweat in your eyes? My eyes water just talking about it.... Either, this song rules, so I wouldn't doubt that anyone would cry.....

    That church organ solo by the keyboard player was W E A K. Almost killed the whole groove. Good thing he was surrounded by musicians who can keep the funk going.

    @SAYCJ1 It does not have to be as old as it looks like. It´s maybe a Mark IV without finish. Just the vintage look nothing else

    I didn't like a lot the bass solo. Is not at the level of the others. Too much slapping, and pentatonics. IMO.

    • @lucianostizzoli2676
      @lucianostizzoli2676 9 років тому

      I agree on that, i know he is capable of doing it. I just think that, in regard ot the others musician solos (on this video in particular) y goes on a different direction that his other band members picked. I was listening this as a background and it caught mi attention the difference of this solo among the others.
